My daughter, who is a pretty picky person, and accompanied me on this camping trip not only loved the campground and campsite, but the whole park! She especially liked the potable water that was available. We've camped in MANY campgrounds around the western part of the U.S. and the water was as good as any purchased water. We think that's a big deal!

Site is well laid out for tent camping, roomy, and shaded.

My experience at Colter Bay was great. It was easy to find and reserve a campground online. Once we arrived, we were greeted by a really nice worker who gave us the lay of the land. The campsite was perfect and our neighbors were respectful. Would recommend for sure!

Staff was awesome. Campground outdated. Cram you in. Served its purpose no doubt but could be much better. Update bathrooms. Update the dish washing station. When it rained it was a muddy campsite. Needs to be addressed.

Great campground with plenty of space for sleeping, cooking, and eating. There are large bear boxes in the tent sites, which was awesome. Bathrooms were clean and well maintained, and there was easy access to recycling, trash, dump stations, and potable water. It's close to basic shopping and a couple of restaurants, and the swim beach is great.

My family stayed at 8 campgrounds over 16 days on a trip from Michigan & this was our favorite! We loved being able to walk to the visitors center, store & to gorgeous Jackson Lake. We brought our 22 ft (small) Class C Motorhome & were happy to be in the campground (instead of the RV Park with the larger campers.) It actually felt like camping! We took all precautions for bears, but did not see any. Highly recommend!
