Happy to be visiting again. Bathrooms are clean and decent, campground is also nice. Happy to have sites available with no generators allowed, for a quiet day. Staff is friendly and helpful.

Overall great campground, tent sites were quiet although pretty close to neighbors. Went during the busy season, so there were always people around the busier parts of the campground, thankfully those in the tent sites were respectful of noise and campground rules. A few things that could of been better for our trip were having to pay 5$ for showers when we had already paid for our campsite reservation, since the showers are public use it is understandable that charging for showers has to occur. However, a reduced fee (or free) for those already staying at the campground would be great, we definitely did some sponge baths to not incur to spending too much on showering. The comfort stations in the tent sites were clean, and the female rest rooms had three stalls, two with regular toilets, and one female urinal. Unsure if anyone knows how to use it or has used it, I sure didn't! The amenities at the campground are great, the general store was awesome for last minute snacks, dinner items, etc. but be prepared to pay the tourist tax. Small warning - if going in the busy season like we did buy firewood when they have it, it runs out fast and shipments come once or twice a week and sell out that day! The swimming beach was my favorite part, great views of the Tetons over Jackson lake. This was a phenomenal spot to watch the sunrise on the mountains, and get a quick dip in after a long day of hiking. The location was a great midpoint in the park, even allowed us to do one day in Yellowstone without too much driving! Check out all the lil spots while you're there, the visitor center has tons of history on the area, and there are great walking trails around the campsite for those looking to stay close to the area. Highly recommend Colter Bay to new campers, or to experienced ones like myself looking for a few nights of 'glamping' to end a long trip in the wilderness. - Couple from NH

We tried calling to book at the campgrounds and no one ever answered. We then tried getting online but didn't have service so we had to drive back into town to book a spot. So to say this was inconvenient is a pretty big understatement, especially when you've been driving all day and didn't expect that this was the new arrangements at this camp grounds. The host was nice but evidently can't help with booking, which would have been helpful. By the time we got back to set up it was dark. Also not one single trash can in the entire camp area. Next time well plan on just finding primitive in the area.

I really like reserving campground sites over first come first serve. If I arrive later in the day I know I will have a camp site and will not have to search for another.

We stayed here for one night while visiting Grand Teton NP at site 127 F Loop. The campground was clean and had easy access to Jackson Lake. (We recommend visiting early in the morning before it gets crowded). With it being a bigger campground it wasn't as quiet as others we stayed at on our trip. Colter Bay Village does have a lot of nice amenities including a small grocery store. The campground has a water pump and the bathrooms had electricity and flush toilets. Both were conveniently close to our campsite.
