The campsite was excellent. The downside was that the camper on the curve just before our site was in an Aliner parked in his parking spot which caused him to park his car behind that trailer which made driving the corner hazardous. Since this is a tent only loop that was extremely annoying.

Its overwhelming all the checks and licenses needed to bring a kayak into the park. However, we did go ahead and do it since we travel from Utah with our kayaks but only ended up fishing for about two hours and I didnt catch anything. We loved hiking but most of all enjoyed biking and wild CB life viewing in the park.

We really enjoyed our camping at Colter Bay. Our site was in the middle of a round camping circle. We were very close to the bathroom which was nice. The camp ground was near the showers. We felt comfortable and safe here. We did see some wildlife.

I liked this campsite loop F #132, there was a path through the trees to the restroom next to the site. It felt private from other guest because of all the trees. The cell service was excellent. My mistake was that I under estimated the time it took to drive to the Wilson boat ramp (meeting point for a rafting trip) from Colter Bay. I thought an hour would be plenty of time to get there, but with traffic and distance it was more like 2 hours. I missed my rafting trip and the next day it rained. I was fortunate that the fine folks at Teton Scenic Float Tours refunded my money. I can't wait to try this again next year!

Overall, the campground is nice. Close to the swimming area on the lake and to the general store. We stayed at site 132 which had three large cell phone towers right next to the pad for the tent. The trees were all cleared out to make room for the towers which made them a huge eye sore. Other than the cell phone towers the site is nice.

DO NOT STAY IN CAMPSITE F-132!! We have stayed at Colter Bay Campground many times in the past and have always loved it for it's incredible beauty and awesome facilities. This year we drove 5 hours to enjoy this beautiful campground and then were put in a campsite with HUGE cell phone towers taking up most of the site. A lot of the trees had been cleared away to accommodate these massive towers. Camping in our own backyard would have helped us feel closer to nature. Honestly, we are baffled why this campsite isn't closed. It was such a disappointment and ruined our experience this year. We asked to be moved but were told there were no other campsites available. The least that could have been done was to post a picture online to let us know beforehand. Avoid this campsite at all costs unless you like sleeping in a tent under cell phone towers with who knows how much radiation. I hope this review will help others not have to go through what we did. PLEASE CLOSE THIS SITE!!! Besides that, the staff, other campsites, and facilities are all great.
