The hosts were very welcoming and the campground includes all services. Be sure to bring bear spray when you go hiking. On our hike, we found a bear right after the first few steps off the car. The bear spray can be easily rented in one of the 24/7 vending machines around the park. However, we found the cleanliness of some restrooms somewhat lacking and the furniture showed a lot of wear.

Campground was very nice, only problem was the constant running of generators! U need to have generator hours example: 7-9 AM then 5-7PM in the evening.

Great campground - many pull-through sites for trailers. Pay attention to the descriptions, though - there were some back-ins in our loop that our trailer and tow vehicle wouldn't have fit into. Bathrooms clean, store well stocked, very good gift shop with nice merchandise, not cheap junk. Store also had a Starbucks that opened at 8am. Sites are large and wooded which offers some privacy from your next door neighbors. Didn't use the showers but it looked like the waiting area was pretty packed in the late afternoons ($ to use).

This is a huge campsite, there are a lot of sites. There was a lot of mosquitos when were there in early June of 2021. Restrooms were clean. Accessibility to lake wasn't that clear. We did hike down to lake with two toddlers, but it wasn't that easy. We did ebike easily over to the general store and food area. Food was okay, we had pizza. Overall easy stopping point if your on your way to Yellowstone.
