Highly recommend staying at Colter Bay Campground. The bathrooms were clean, sites were spacious and having the amenities close by (store, showers, restaurants, fuel etc.) was a bonus. We took a boat tour of Jackson Lake, hiked around a bit of the lake, had ice cream every evening after dinner, the kids went fishing a few times (didn't catch anything). The location was nice and centrally located to the sites in the Grand Tetons that you want to see. We spent the day at Jenny Lake hiking and taking a cold plunge....brrrr. Also was a quick drive north into Yellowstone and south to Jackson Hole.

The campground is in a beautiful location with easy access to Grand Teton National Park. There is a section of the campground that has electric and water hookup, but our camp site was in one of the loops that did not have any hook ups. We did make use of the dump station and fresh water fill station which were very conveniently located. The weather was not great as it rained most of the second day we were there. The rain resulted in many large puddles of water. We ate in the campground restaurant on our first night in the park. The wait was reasonable and the food was very good. We were unlucky with the weather but I would stay here again as the location is quite beautiful.

We loved our visit at Colter Bay campground. Our site was much more spacious than expected given the crowding in the RV park at Colter Bay. We would definitely camp here again.
