Stayed in site 20. No electric at this site but otherwise a very good site. Level and shaded. Verizon was spotty at best. Some days would have a little service other days nothing. Campground host was great.

Jumbo Campground is the nicest National Forest campground we have ever stayed in!!! It is extremely well-maintained. The camp sites are strategically placed for maximum privacy with each site having its own pleasant view. It is quiet, clean and so pleasant! Lots of hiking trails and fishing lakes are definitely a plus. We highly recommend this campground and will stay there again.

Beautiful setting, helpful camp hosts. Ken and Kim were wonderful. We hadn't realized when we got there that we had booked a site with no electricity but they helped us change our site to one with hookups and gave us a little background on the area as it was out first experience on the Mesa. The weather was unsettled but it really didn't keep us from seeing all we wanted to see and we're thinking we'll make this an annual pilgrimage with our freinds.

Quiet, private spots nestled in beautiful lodgepole pines and aspen trees. Neat, tidy, well stocked, and easy to access outhouses. Potable water and firewood available. Well groomed, clean, and flat tent/camper pads. Big fire rings with grill tops for campfire cooking. Friendly site hosts. This campsite has a great vibe. It's close to nature but still has some creature comforts.

Jumbo campground was great, we had 30 amp at the site and water in the campground. There were lots of trees, most sites had shade at some point of the day. Lots of mosquitoes, but sunny sites had fewer. The sites were mostly level, easy enough to put one board under the tire for a comfortable stay.

Campground was well maintained. Initially mens bathroom was clean no odor, however after 2nd day it had an odor that never left the rest of our stay.

Such a beautiful place and the campground hosts, as well as the people you meet on the trails and the owners at Mesa Lake Lodge - great experience. We caught several trout and loved every minute -- will be back!

We love this campground, with all of the lakes to kayak and fish. The camp host's are always so pleasant. The only downside I would say was the the latrines were very full and very smelly. Last year when we went that was not the issue. Otherwise all was good. We will be back. It's become a favorite. If you could just do something about the Mosquitos. LOL.

The outhouses smell terribleseriously I think its a health hazard (smells like amonia). They are clean (thank you host) but evidently they use a some sort of composting technology and the ventilation fan has been broken since at least the summer of 2022.

@BranJen - Santa Clara, CA

I wanted to thank you for this site and especially for the notifications feature. Thanks to your site and my subscription I was able to book a campsite I've been annoyingly trying to book for 5 years unsuccessfully. So thank you.

@Wondering - Oregon

Wow! Woke up this morning to a notification that a favorite had opened at Paulina, and when I went to check, it was there. This membership just paid for itself in the first 24 hours I owned it. Couldn't take the site it conflicted with a trip already set, but it truly was there. Thanks Tons.

@CarlaLThompson - Colorado

I just love this site and I tell everyone about it! It's so competitive to secure desired campsites and the alerts really help track when sites free up. The best part of this story is our alert notified a cancellation the next day!!!!!! Just incredible!!!
