Shared bathrooms were immaculate and full campground was surprisingly quiet and dark.

Although I reserved a camp spot, I opted for an open spot on the hiker/biker area near the rim and was thrilled with the space. Thanks for everything!

Amazing campground short walk to the canyon from your campsite. If you have 4wd, I suggest Point Sublime it's about 2.5 hrs one way. There are a couple of rock shelves you need to climb. The views are exquisite.

The bathroom facilities were very clean. The camp site was laid out nicely. There are trails near the campsite that can be hiked to the NR Lodge. This campground is worth the stay and I would use again.

very nice campsite near the north rim visitor center! gave me easy access to see the sunset and have a quick drive back to set up camp! met a very nice female camp host the next morning! felt very safe as a solo-female camper!

Fantastic location. Enough space between each site. Restrooms well maintained. Highly recommended campground on the North Rim with very close access to trails.

Make sure that you check out the space of the site related to the size of your rig. Some are very tight due to the growth of the trees surrounding the roadways with in the campground.

I stopped in for two nights right at the end of the 2019 season. The campground was clean. I was by myself but I thought the size of the spaces was ample. The facilities were clean and in working order. The staff was friendly and attentive. The camp store had a small assortment of various items to make sure that you were fed and that there was a chance of buying needed necessities.

The tent only area was quiet and very enjoyable. Restrooms were clean. The check-in personnel were very helpful in changing bookings when it was possible.

Although the campground was nearly full, it never really felt crowded. The sites are large and well spaced for the most part. Only a few are near the rim, but all are within an easy stroll. The lodge and all the activity that goes with it are far enough away so traffic to and from doesn't impact the camping area. The campground store, showers and laundry are well done.Hikes on the North Rim, in September, were very lightly used and a pleasant surprise. Its worth doing dinner at the lodge. The food was very good and the ambiance has that "old national park lodge" feel. The veranda is terrific and wasn't crowded when we were there. We enjoyed a great lightning show on the South Rim after dinner.
