We loved the casual rustic feel of the campground in the Pine forest, the birds, the short walk to amazing views, great hikes, and the week-long star party!

Camp volunteer helped me with a new spot because there was an emergency and ours was taken. Spot 78 was very large and quite level. The trash pickup was quiet. Very clean campground. Excellent cell service the closer you get to the rim.

Booked a 3 night stay as it was one of the few campsites in the west that showed available. The rest of the west was 95-115 degrees, it was a very comfortable 82 degrees at 8500 The campsites were spacious, shaded and fairly level. The wind coming off the canyon at night blowing through the ponderosa pines, and views of the Milky Way were awesome! My only negative would be that the closest grocery store in about 1.5 hours away. The general stores in the area have some basic food items but if you want a steak prepare for a long drive.

Campground clean, host friendly and informative. Trails to rim easy to navigate. We had a large family group between our 4 sites. Everyone had a great time.

Beautiful location. Only bad part was make sure your trailer door opens into campsite and not road. All one way roads and ours opened to road. I drove backwards on road so ours opened to site. Host said he would not allow that during fire season. Also be aware it will not be quiet during generator hours.

Laundry and shower facilities were closed. This was an inconvenience to all due to the isolated nature of the North Rim. Why have these facilities at all if there availability is not reliable? Otherwise, the campground is very pleasant.

There were a lot of noisy people that I heard at night. More than the other two campgrounds (Mather and Desert View). Some of the noise sounded like it was coming from the Lodge.

Campsite at the North Rim was great. Large separated camps. Very peaceful

Stayed at site 61 and 17. Both times excellent. Wonderful shade from large pines.

Beautiful campground. The spots are far enough away from each other that I never felt crowded. The bathroom facility is decent. The campground store is fine but overpriced. My biggest complaint is that the shower/laundry room was not in operation.

Beautiful and clean campground. Staff was friendly and helpful. We enjoyed being able to view the canyon from the campground, plus we were able to walk to the North Rim Lodge from the campground. Only negative was the narrow drive between trees to the dump station.
