Everything was great, the only complaint I have is that the showers were not working due to water restrictions. It would have been nice to be notified prior to our camping trip.

One of the best NPS/FS campgrounds I've been too. Campsites are well spaced, very quiet for the amount of RVs around (as a tent camper), close to the rim, great shade from tall pines. The general store is great for supplies and right nearby for an easy walk.

Easy check-in with a quick orientation to campground rules. Had to move sites each night because one 3-day block wasn't available, but this was very easy and the campground host had the appropriate reservation tag at each site each day. Nice sites; the campground was full, but sites are spaced far enough apart that it never felt crowded.

Great place, clean facilities, friendly staff at check in. Loved every day we were here! The only negative was having to battle the bees, but even that was not too bad, just a nuisance really. Cant wait to go back!

The campsite was kept clean and well maintained. My friend and I agreed they were among the best, cleanest outdoor bathrooms we'd ever seen. There is a great variety of useful resources (water taps, bathrooms, dumpsters, etc) that make your stay easy, but still feeling like you're camping. I appreciated the shop: it gives useful camping necessities: camping food and fire/safety gear as well as tourist gifts. The staff were very friendly!! Overall I had a very positive experience. During quiet time it was generally quiet, though if you want to go to bed before 10:30, there are plenty of people still up with lights on and making noise, which kept us up for a while.

The campground was good. Spotty service but wonderful atmosphere. The pay showers and laundry was a bonus and the general store was well-stocked. The hardest part about this campground or park is that without a smaller vehicle you cannot access many of the hiking trails. There is NO shuttle to get you to the trailheads and if your transportation is over 22 feet then you can get to the lodge and access hike points from there or the campground but nothing else. So just figure that into your planning and bring smaller transportation(car, atv, bikes, etc.) that can get you around in the park itself. The original length was 30feet but it has been changed to 22 feet and we didn't know before we went. Just trying to help future planners. Otherwise we enjoyed the campground and lodge and views.

The NP campground at N rim Grand Canyon is excellent! Nice location near edge of canyon, great trails for hiking and biking, and bathroom facilities are exceptional.

A little rain was an enhancement to an awesome three days of hiking and picture taking. The close by store had more than everything necessary. Excellent all the way around.

Would have been nice if the shuttle was running between the campground and the Lodge.

No one can deny the beauty of the grand Canyon. The campgrounds are very nice and kept up. As far as any "issues" go my biggest issue would be with the hand dryers in the restrooms. They can be heard throughout the campground. I was in space 72. Pretty much directly in between two restrooms. I could hear the blowers from BOTH restrooms every time someone used them. They must be the LOUDEST air dryers I have ever heard. They are EXTREMELY annoying and disturbing to the peace. Especially after 10:00 p.m. I understand the use of the air dryers as opposed to paper towels, but I also know there are MUCH quieter blowers out there. Do we need a go-fund me page to help replace them? I will definitely make a donation! After that it's just the blatant lack of common courtesy of some of the campers which I know you have no control over. But, is there anyway the dumpster lids could be quieted? I don't know how many times I heard dumpster lids let slam down because some people don't know how to close things quietly. I normally do dispersed camping for these exact reasons, but the forest was closed during the time I could come up. Although it is a very nice campground it is also way too crowded with campsites too close together. I also think gas powered generators need to not be allowed, or at least have a volume or dB limit. I will most definitely visit the north rim again, but as far as staying at the campgrounds again I am not sure about that.
