Site 41 is good. Trees for shade or hammocks. Bathroom and store a very short walk.

Easy check in. Although most services were close at the end of October, we enjoyed the quiet surroundings compared to the South Rim. We hiked the transvept trail and enjoyed the sunset.

Great experience and staff were helpful and nice. It’s got spectacular views, you look down into the canyon more from the north rim making the views even more spectacular. Campground and cabins are pretty basic but clean and functional. Store was small but well stocked and likely had what a traveler may have forgotten. No food review, we didn’t eat at either of the options at the lodge. What could be better? Maybe allowing more ‘connectivity’ in the campground/cabin areas with WiFi or a cell signal.

Wonderful campground in the forest, so peaceful and quiet. Walked 5 minutes and we could enjoy an amazing sunset and later that night the Milky Way as we have never seen it before.Rangers were really nice and helpful.I wish we could have stayed longer.

This is one of my favorite places to camp. It is normally quiet, clean and easy to get a spot. Since Covid it has become almost impossible to get a spot even starting in January. If you can get a spot it is worth going to.

Beautiful site. Great staff. Pay showers and a laundromat in case you're there for a while. I did a ranger-recommended hike - Wildforss Trail (10 mi out/back). It was flat and wooded with views of the canyon throughout. The distance was a bit long and brutal but the views at the end (5miles in) are special and worthwhile. Have a cocktail or meal at the Grand Canyon Lodge!
