Lovely campground - well kept and spread out more with good shade.

The park ranger was very helpful, he found us a site that had been cancelled so we could stay another night. Very enjoyable stay despite some transient severe weather.

Beautiful shaded campground, surprisingly quiet given the number of campers present. Showers were clean with hot water.

Great camp. Clean and well maintained. Spot 34 was lovely and had more than enough room for our 20ft van.

The campground itself is lovely. This site would be great for someone in a very small RV or a tent. Though it is a pull through site, there are two trees about 10 feet across at the very middle of the curve, making it hard to pull anything larger than a small RV through. Bathrooms very clean. Pay showers are lukewarm at best, we were warned by the person who checked us in. Lodge is within hiking distance, make sure you make a reservation ahead of time if you want to eat dinner there.

Very quiet campground, beautiful. Almost every site looked like a great site. Lots of shade. Bathrooms were clean. Sinks nearby for dishes. I would definitely stay here again.

The location is amazing. It takes a long time to get to, but its so worth it. The campground hosts were incredible. Our son had an accident and we had to go to the hospital (hes ok!) and the hosts and rangers were so helpful and concerned. They checked in on us and made sure we had everything we could need. I can say enough nice things about them. The facilities were nice and simple. It was a treat to wash out clothes and the camp store is stocked with just about anything you could need. We had a great time and hope we can go back again.

My wife and I are in love with the North Rim and return every year in our fifth wheel. My usual 5 star rating was demoted to 4 stars because of the last hour of our 1 week stay. We were using the dump station upon departure and found out that the system was completely stopped up. The end result was that my new shoes were saturated with raw sewage. I informed the ranger in the kiosk and he said he knew about it already, but the responsibility to repair it (or even post a SIGN for those of us who were unaware) lay with Maintenance and they just couldn't get around to it. I understand these things but how many visitors had already had this experience before me? In 5 minutes SOMEONE could stretch a rope between the trees and hang an out-of-order sign on it. Isn't there a camp host? I would have done it myself just to be courteous if I'd been there another day. Do better next year please. Jim R.
