Our site had a pretty steep slope from the parking are down to the table and fire ring. There were much better sites in the campground than where we camped at. Loved the North Rim area more than the south rim. Wasnt as tourist crazy.

I had spot 30. Nice spot. Close to drinking water, restrooms (which were clean and stocked), no neighbors to the backside. Lousy cell service throughout the campground and park. Lost my Wordle streak :-( The North Rim, in my humble opinion, is far superior to the South Rim. Make sure to stop by the hotel nearby for views and a pint o lager!

Campsite #16 was picture perfect (what a view!), clean and quiet. The campground was in great shape. The short hike on Transept trail to Bright Angel Point had been cleared and included many perfect picture opportunities. We were sorry that the Lodge was closed (missed dining there), and the only downside of this trip was having to use the nasty porta potties outside the Lodge. Eeks!

Didn't camp cause it was covered in snow.

We were very unfortunate to spend both nights of our visit across from a trailer who turned on a very noisy generator and ran it from 4-6. We could not enjoy the peace and beauty of the park with the generator roaring for 2 hours. There were other generators around us running from as well. Generators significantly detract from the national park experience. In our opinion generators should not be allowed in any national park. National parks are for enjoying nature. The host was great. We saw him out cleaning up and patrolling. The campground was well kept up.

Excellent sites with plenty of space. Clean bathrooms although the showers remained closed.

We gave our stay 5 stars because of the gorgeous setting. However the campsite that we got was right next to the bathroom and lights going on and off all night and hand dryer machine as well was annoying and kept us up. Also, some of the groups were loud at night. It's funny because it was quiet during the day. The views though are so spectacular that it all was worth while. We love hiking on the Transept Trail to the lodge and then coming back and cooking on the barbecue at our campsite. The staff is very friendly. Campsites are clean.
Loud group put a damper on our night there. Several people were upset around us. This continued well after midnight. Otherwise it was beautiful non the less. Never forget the views.

Great campground that is very beautiful. We spent 4 nights and had 3 full days to explore. My only complaint would be that cleaning the bathrooms just once a day was not nearly enough. By the evening they were filthy and disgusting. They should realize this themselves, cmon staff wake up!!!!
