We camped there two days before the fire. So sad. Our experience at the Rim cannot be fully described.

Stayed in spot #23. It was about 75 ft to restrooms which were always clean and stocked. The parking was very long and mostly level. My truck and trailer is 49 ft combined and the parking could handle 60 feet easily. Stayed July 21-26,2024 weather was low 60s and high 84 with low humidity. Got hot on hikes between 1-5pm and afternoon showers were the norm. Very clean and quiet camp grounds, well maintained. No complaints. Dinner at lodge was good experience but food was mid-hotel quality. Best nightly sunset was at campground around site 10, much better than lodge! Mule deer visited our site almost daily and did see buffalo in the meadow just past the park entrance as late as 11am. Solar was only good for about 4 hours due to trees, glad I brought a portable panel to move around which helped.

North Rim campground is very nice. Not overly crowded like some campgrounds. Nice hike down to the visitors center, and the views from the canyon rim next to the campground were stunning at evening. Restrooms clean and well tended to, a nice little store available for supplies and souvenirs.

North Rim Campground is a very nice facility. Site are spaced far enough apart to give some privacy. Toilets are clean and modern, General store has all the basics.

Quiet, nights are star-studded, restrooms clean, camp store convenient, check in was efficient although a little slow. Hiking trails were not crowded and well maintained. Loved the diverse views of the canyons. Will definitely be back.

All accommodations, general store, gas and other amenities were exactly as advertised. Campgrounds were excellent, tables and fire ring were an added plus. Camp Host was very helpful. There were rules to follow but I think everyone would say they made things better. Lodge, deli and gift shop were very nice and friendly. Rangers, staff and working folks were all very friendly and helpful. Next time I go it will be on a Full Moon week.

We visit the north rim every year. Much more primitive than south rim. also, much less crowded. This is one of our favorite places to camp every year. The campground is great. There are no hookups available here. We use our generator and have solar panels. Generators are restricted except two hours in the morning and two hours in the evening. This is very helpful in keeping the campground quiet most of the time. Nothing worse than camping next to generators running all hours. Reservation are a must as the campground fills up rapidly.
