Very rustics. Campground quite a bit off the scene. Nice place, compared to south rim, but there is room for improvement. Wifi at the store: advertised but not accessible.

1 person tent camping for 3 nights beginning of Aug 2023. Check in was quick and easy right at noon. Water spigot and restrooms were close to the campsite. Restrooms were always clean during my stay. More RV's than tents while I was there. Neighbors were quiet. Overall enjoyed the campground.

Wonderful campground. Great location, with a couple of nice hiking trails right off the campground. We had a peak-a-boo view of the Grand Canyon - very picturesque. Sites were very clean and well maintained. Would definitely stay here again.

Nice campground. Sites are not too close together. Sites along the ridge line area e.g site 10 I stayed at are able to get cell signal (Verizon) from the towers on the south rim. Inside sites like 44 I was also at get no cell but there was enough of a break in the trees that I was able to get Starlink service about 60% of the time. There's a dump out station where you can also load up drinking water. There's a convenient camp store. There are two nice trails to access the Bright Angle area - a greenway trail and a ridge line trail.

The bathrooms were nice, just sad the cool view spots are set up for trailers. Work a bit more on a few level spots for tents as well as rvs

Campgrounds very clean and spacious. The store is very well stocked with necessary items and has a good selection of food. Trails along the rim are easily accessible. The lodge has a small cafe with food…the deluxe pizza was very good.

Check in was very easy, ranger at check in was very helpful, we had two different sites for two different nights and he allowed us to check in to both at same time to prevent having to return to the ranger station. Beautiful views - was amazing stay!

In preparation for a rim-to-rim hike, my son and I spent the night of October 16th in the backpacker sites on the North Rim. Our site was amazing--perhaps 30 feet from the rim. Deer wandered through our site from time to time. We enjoyed a fire in the fire ring that night and appreciated having the food locker right there at the picnic table to stow our food. We chose this time of year to avoid the heat. However, note that the store closes on Oct 15th. We hiked some distance to buy firewood and carried it back to camp with us. On the positive side, the campground was very quiet that time of year.
