North Rim Campground was the cleanest and most beautiful campground Ive ever stayed at. The general store had everything you could need and was reasonably priced. Staff was extremely helpful, our entire experience was great!

The campground was clean with a beautiful setting. The ranger Cindy was extremely helpful to find a better site as the one I booked wasnt appropriate for the size of my popup.

This place is amazing! Ive never been to the South Rim, and from what Ive heard it is not what Im interested in. I love the higher altitude, the less hustle and bustle of the North Rim. It is, in a lot of ways, harder to get to, but well worth it for me.

The tent sites are lovely. If you are a tent camper, however, the regular sites often dont have enough level ground for even a two-man tent. Also, I know there is no easy solution for this problem, but so many sites were empty. I had to switch sites for my second night, and the site I moved to had been unoccupied for several days. Its so easy to cancel on recreation.gov- theres no excuse for this.

Overall the campground was very nice and had easy access to all of the trails, drives, and amenities. Only complaint is the sites had a lot of rocks that made it hard to get tent stakes in. Otherwise we had a fantastic trip.

The campground on the North Rim is a very well maintained one. The restrooms where very nice and clean all the time. The water sources where easy to get to. Certainly some camp sites are better than others but the location is awesome. Just a very short walking distance to seeing into the canyon. The general store was clean, organized and well supplied with what one would need camping. The shower area was welcomed and well maintained. My one comment is to wait 5 mins for the warm water to come as the showers don't seem to turn off after the 6 min time limit. Which is nice since it is all cold water and takes time for the warm. A lot to do in the area. The Grand Lodge is a wonderful place to explore and relax at. The small caf food prices seem to have really jumped up over the last few years so we skipped it this time.

My wife and I had not been back to the North Rim for 7 years after we "crawled" out from our R to R hike that truly was magical. What a difference between the tow rims. Hardly anyone there, everyone is more personable, shower hours were perfect, and just an overall more laid back vibe. I'm hesitant to write anymore......enjoy.

The biggest issue was that there were only one men's and one woman's shower operational during our visit.

The campground was extremely clean, lots of garbage cans available. The store had EVERYTHING one could possibly need. The rangers were friendly and knowledgeable. The rules (quiet hours and distracting/annoying lights off) were well enforced.

Debi did an excellent job, very professional, but friendly and understanding. Only negative was the showers and Laundry were not open, and the steak 🥩 at the lodge was tough. Love the north Rim

We enjoyed our stay. The facilities are nice. Flushing toilets, dish cleaning stations, easy access to laundry and showers. I wasn't happy that I had to switch sites on the second night of our stay. This isn't the fault of the campground, its all that was available. However, no one ended up occupying my previous nights spot. So I really didn't have to move. The spot I was in the first night was a very narrow pull through with a sharp angle. We had a small popup. But anything larger it would have been very hard to pull through. I almost hit the tree. The second night we were in what can only be described as a Shared Pull through. Thankfully, the other party had a truck with a shell and it was easy for them to move to let us pull in. Otherwise, backing it in would have been a nightmare, I would have had to make a very sharp turn and then figure out how to back it in.My take away is, really look at the spot you are getting. Make sure your vehicle will fit properly. Don't get the shared spot. It might not work out for you. Finally, there were several other open spots that second night. Probably because people didn't show. But the website showed 100% sold out. This really isn't the fault of the campground, just inconsiderate people. You don't really have a choice at the North Rim. It's either this campground or the one outside the park about 10 miles away.its in a good location, nice trails, close to the lodge. I would go again. Just need to plan it better.

Big sites protected by tall pines. Good showers and bathrooms. Great trail access.
