We had some car trouble en route and were going to be a day late for a 5 night campground stay. The North Rim site threatened if we didn't check in by 8am the day following our planned arrival they would release of sites. Sites we had paid for 6 months earlier. There was no way to contact anyone at the campground, or the North Rim other than a sympathetic restaurant host at the lodge. None of the other numbers we found ever were answered, and there was no voice mail setup on any of the 5 separate numbers I called. Needless to say I was very worried my family would have no place to stay upon arriving. Fortunately our site were still there. Moreover the camp host (Bill?) and the check-in ranger (Steve) couldn't have been nicer. The woman running the camp store was a delight as well, however the store was very poorly stocked other than beer, chips, candy and pre-made sandwiches of suspect quality. A mixed experience overall.

Perfectly clean, spacious, easy-pull-through spot, thisclose to water and short walk to the restrooms. Super friendly folks at check-in and in the general store. The other campers were respectful of the quiet hours. No showers or breakfast at the North Rim Lodge unfortunately, due to landslide damage to the water line coming up from inside the canyon, but that was fixed as promised a few days after I left. The canyon made it up to me, though, with one of the best sunsets I've ever seen at the park. Rainbows, condors, dramatic skies, vivid colors -- one can't ask for more from a campsite a few miles away!

Amazing campground with roomy sites. The hosts were topnotch and kept tabs on generator hours which I always appreciate.

Amazing campground, spaces are spread out enough to where you don't feel piled up on each other. Bathrooms were very cleaned and smelt fresh. Friendly staff!

I love this campground. It is one of the quietest places I’ve ever camped, the sites are large, bathrooms are new and very clean, and the staff was very friendly. I’ll definitely be back.

Great visit, unfortunately the showers and laundry were closed

We had a wonderful time. The campground is level under tall ponderosa pines. Water and restrooms are convenient, with flush toilets. The general store adjacent to the campground is excellent, much more than expected form a campground store. Outstanding fire rings, although we could not use them due to restrictions because of high fire danger. Close to hikes and scenic drives.
