The camp site was excellent. We saw deer walking past in the rear of the camp. Lots of big pine trees. Beautiful site. Very nice hike along the canyon to the lodge. The nights were cool in late May which felt amazing. Loved the North Rim and camp ground.

Very clean. Close distance to where you want to be. Delicious drinking water nearby. Bathrooms are very clean and comfortable.

This is a very special campground. The location is amazing. The sky gazing at night is just extraordinary. The campground was clean. The store was well stocked. It's quite dark at night. Someone's car alarm was going off one night but besides that it was very quiet. When we were here the showers were closed which was a big minus, but the weather was good so you can manage for a couple of nights. Overall we had a very good experience ... with the exception of the morning when we were leaving. All of our stuff was broken down, tent and anything big was already put away. Kids were in the car. We were repacking the cooking items we had with us (couple of large boxes). It's about quarter to 11 am. Older Ranger lady drives by and reminds us the check-out is at 11 am. My husband says 'I'm trying my best' with a smile. She then very rudely replies 'Try harder' and drives away. What a condescending, cold and rude way to speak to anyone. This is not a hotel room you have to clean and we will clearly be gone in a few minutes. Get a better attitude.

We were lucky to have sites close to the canyon rim; all sites are roomy and shady. The transept trail was a beautiful way to access the lodge, the campground store and the Kaibab and Uncle Jim trailheads. Camp hosts were helpful and friendly. Bathroom were clean; however we were disappointed that the showers were closed.

This was my first time visiting the North Rim and I had my 3 boys with me. We were fortunate enough to have what I would consider THE BEST camp site there - T-06. It was just feet from the edge of the canyon and about 100 yards away from the most beautiful view - especially of the stars at night! My sons saw the Milky Way for their first time and it's been a highlight of our trip out west.
