We stayed in a tent only campsite. The space between tent sites is nice, and they're still near where cars can be parked. The sites are near the trail that takes you down to the lodge and a great view. There's not much shade at the tent only sites. The nearest restrooms to the tent only site are vault toilets and the nearest water spigot was out of order. I hope the near by flush toilet restroom and the nearest water spigot get repaired soon.

We stayed here the day before our Rim to Rim. It is beautiful!! This sight is right next to the rim. You can see it from the campsite. There is only one tree next to the tent pad so it can get pretty hot during the day. No overhead shade cover. It was a mile and a half walk each way to the North Rim Lodge, you can take the road or the Transept Trail. It's about a 1.35 mile walk to the North Kaibab Trailhead from this campsite.

Tent camping, the sites are far enough apart to not feel crowded. Facilities are clean and staff friendly and helpful.

North Rim Campground was a great choice for seeing the different side of the Grand Canyon with many large trees. We stayed at the tent only sites which the canyon edges were very close by that provided easy access to great views. General store carried basic supplies, had well maintained showers and bathrooms, and also had laundry services available. Unfortunately the water spigot for our area was non-operational and flush toilets were inconvenient from the tent only sites. The Grand Canyon Lodge was a highlight for us as they have great viewpoints of the canyon which made for beautiful sunsets.

Well spaced camp sites, close to facilities but not too close to each other. I want to come back when I can stay longer.

Great campsite, excellent pitch for tent. with a soft sand surface. Fire pits are a little too deep, so you have to really sit up close to benefit any heat or visual of the fire. Toilets and water were off in the tent only section, however I was advised of this in advance, so no complaints about that. General store is a lot more basic than the one on the South Rim, guess I was kinda spoilt with that one. Showers were very hot one day and Luke warm the next. There was a sign advising this was down to usage, not sure how this is a the case when I was the one one in the shower block. all in a ll great campsite, just make sure you have plenty of food supplies on arrival if you intend on cooking.

It is inexcusable to have the showers inoperable at this time of year. Terrible management.

Bathrooms were closed near my campsite so had to use pit toilet which ran out of toilet paper at the end of the weekend, but beautiful location. Not much shade at this particular campsite, suggest you bring a canopy of some kind. Very windy! tie down your tent!
This place is truly incredible. A few minutes walk along a trail from the campground and you're on the edge of the canyon with jaw-dropping views. We booked late and to get 2 nights had to stay in a yurt the first night and camped the second. So glad we did - the yurts are beautifully made - very high quality, and well equipped with a 360 degree deck and propane grill. The campsite had its own shelter over a picnic table and felt nicely secluded from the other sites. Our only minor beef was that the toilets near the tent camping are the hole in the ground type (and pretty smelly), whereas the ones near the yurts are plumbed in. That said, amazing location, smooth experience, highly recommended.

This campground is wonderful. The rent-only site that we stayed in offered terrific views of the canyon, and was close to clean bathrooms and other amenities. Highly recommend.

The tent sites at The North Rim are some of the best sites I have ever used. An overall stellar experience. I already look forward to returning.
