We loved this campground, we wish we would have stayed longer! There are nice hikes right from the campground, not crowded at all! They have a nice market, laundry and showers right in the campground. The North Rim Lodge is awesome and we loved the ranger programs. The campsite was very good, they are well spaced out and level. We look forward to coming back again.

Site 45 is one of those which the RV door opens into the road, but the sites are so far apart and heavily wooded, it doesn't matter. Nice and quiet. One of the best campgrounds I've been to.

Very nice campground but the camp host refused to honor the Recreation.gov policy that "No-shows after 24 hours will forfeit their reservation and the site will be released for resale." There were several unoccupied campsites with no-shows but we were not allowed to pay to use one of them instead of the no-show, so they went unused for several days. What a waste of public resources!

I wished there was a spot to do the dishes. I can't believe everybody is using disposables.

Clean campground, quiet, the orientation of individual camp sites was odd. Was next to campground host but never saw them

Our site was next to the camp host. The first night we were enjoying the stars near the visitor center and drove back into camp late. We went straight to our tents (already set up) and went to sleep, didn't stay up talking or move anything around or even go to the bathrooms. The camp host left a nasty note calling us rude and inconsiderate and accusing us of slamming doors, speaking loudly, and shining lights into other sites. We didn't do any of that. We were so tired we went straight to sleep and didn't even talk in the tents. We were awake at our site for 5 minutes of quiet hours, max. That made us feel like we couldn't use our sites or any lights at night. The next night we tried to go to the bathrooms without lights (since they bothered the host so much) and got lost in the dark. We wanted to hang out and talk quietly but felt like we couldn't because the host was so irritated from us just going straight to bed. I won't ever book a site near a camp host again. The bathrooms were clean and the site itself was nice. It would be nice to have bathrooms indicated on the NPS app map to make them easier to find.

Love going to the North Rim campground, less commercialized than the South. Very peaceful.

The camp host was outstanding. Did an excellent job of keeping the sites clean. The camp host also had great tips on what to do and where to visit. The North Rim Campground is a must. It is quiet, shaded and clean!

North rim campground is quiet and beautiful. Restrooms are clean. Views are close by. Nice trail along the rim to the lodge. Staff is terrific! No shower though due to COVID. DANG IT.
Will camp there again.

This was my first visit to the Grand Canyon and it quickly became one of my favorite destinations. I spent four nights camping a the North Rim and found plenty of trails for hiking every day. The weather was awesome in early June and I was able to get great sunset pics as well as one of my best Milky Way shots. Definitely going back again. Only downside is cell coverage was really bad. I have both T-mobile and Verizon along with a WE boost on my truck and it was still pretty bad. So, if you want to be disconnected, this is the place.

This was a wonderful vacation. We met our family from California and had camping sites next to each other. The time spent with family was invaluable and we were impressed with the size of the camping spots and amenities it offered. What is nice about the North Rim is that even in August, the weather is very comfortable and it is off the beaten path of other National Park locations. This location met all our expectations and we had a enjoyable time visiting the North Rim.

We loved the tall trees. The campgrounds were quite level. The water was close and the restrooms were very nice. The showers (and laundromat) were close and ran much longer than posted for the coins inserted. Be sure to go on all short hikes, especially on the two forks that take off a couple of miles north of the campground. Our campground host was wonderful! Very nice and responsive. There was a party going on past curfew in the campground. He visited them twice and, when they still wouldn't be quiet, he called in the big gun cops. We will be returning in the near future.
