Nice, wooded sites that are somewhat close together. Stayed in one of the tent only sites that are "walk-in" but really are about 25-30' from the designated parking spots. The biggest drawback is that those site's bathroom is closed as is the water source, so it is a hike to a real bathroom and spigot. In addition, the elevated pit toilet that they have for this site was almost completely full.

We stayed at this fantastic campground end of September 2023. It offered hot showers for a small fee and we could even wash our clothes. Nice environment and very silent. Great place to stay for a couple of days.

The campground was clean, quite and very close to the Rim. I loved having access to the General store and look forward to going back.

The North Rim is a little cooler than the South and there are not as many eating out opportunities on the North. The Lodge requires reservations so be prepared. Also, there is a chance for rain or snow everyday depending on the season. The North is not as visited as the South, so it is a lot more laid back. You'll love it.

The entire trip was very enjoyable. the weather , and sights were perfect. The only thing I have to mention is that a campsite is someones home for as long as they stay there. Do not walk through someones camp site as a short cut. That is like walking through their house. Respect their area as you would want someone to respect yours.

The campground was quiet and full of people heading out to go rim-to-rim the next day. We loved meeting them and talking with them. A very enjoyable two days.

Stayed here on a Saturday night for a 4 day trip starting Sunday down into the canyon. Tent area has nice quiet sites near a spigot and bathroom. Able to get the site because of a cancellation 4 months before by checking the site very often after I got my permit for campgrounds down in the canyon. In the morning around 6 we packed up real quick and drove to the North Kaibab Trailhead and did get a spot in that parking area. It would have been a long walk if we had to leave our car at the lodge. Definitely good to stay here the night before to get an early start. Rangers were friendly and knowledgeable when checking in. The general store has wood and supplies. Nice to hang out at the lodge in the evening, it has a patio with chairs and a great view!

This Campground is clean, quiet and right on the Rim. We camped in the tent only spots and had awesome neighbors and sunsets. Highly recommend this camp ground!

Campsite was nice. Short walk to an amazing view of the North Rim. The hand dryer in the bathrooms was really loud and we could hear it from our site at night. Other than that this was a great site. We stayed here 1 night before starting the rim-to-rim hike.
