We camped here after doing rim2rim and were carrying our tent with us (no car/rig set up). I think there are dedicated walk in sites - would highly recommend getting one of those or a dedicated tent site since we accidentally had a pull in site where all the ground was pretty slanted for putting a tent up. Otherwise - campground is nice, convenient bathrooms and store set up if you are resupplying here. It is .7 miles from the actual trailhead and 1.5 miles from the lodge - which feels reeeally far after rim to rim. There is a free shuttle between all these places but be prepared that it might be running a bit late

Campground was nice and clean. Showers and laundry were a nice bonus although the coin machine took our $$ but didnt give us the coins! As directed by the sign, we enquired at the campground store but found the man there unhelpful. I hope our unexpected donation supports the national park service!

Great place to explore the North Rim. Well managed, access to lots of services. We'll be back.

Extremely thoughtful of the NPS to open the North Rim campground even as the lodging and restaurants remained closed due to the waterline break from heavy winter snows and resulting rockslides. The campground facilities were well maintained and the hosts and folks at the campground store were so very thoughtful. The North Rim was just lovely. Enough water was flowing to provide drinking water and restroom water to the campground. Thank you for opening this wonderful area.

The scenery was beautiful. We were able to walk the trail to the rim and take our DOG. We all enjoyed it. The campsite was clean and paved. No dust or mud to deal with. The reservation park ranger was a delight and very helpful. Restrooms were clean. It was not overcrowded like the south rim. Can't wait to revisit. It was the first stop on our 2 week vacation and a highlight. We will definately be back.

This was a perfect campground. Our site 32 faced a wooded area. They do not have tent pads so bring good tent footprints. The trails around campground are beautiful and lead you to amazing views and straight below the Zion lodge. I will be back!
