The camp staff did an excellent job of monitoring activities, gently enforcing rules, and keeping sites and bathrooms clean.

Beautiful campground, very tidy. The camphost was nice enough to loan me a ladder to fix our awning on the trailer. The rim trail is very close to the campsites and the fuel prices were great, way lower than Jacob's Lake. We will for sure be coming here again. Watching the pine trees sway from the wind was awesome.

Lovely wooded campsite, close to Store selling a good range of basic food. Internet access at the store. Pay as you go showers. Could not fault the experience, we stayed 3 nights.

Dump station is tight and in an awkward location not easily accessible. Sites are OK but too close and exposed to everyone else. Don't fit even average RV vehicles or trailers well. Can't beat the park though and we weren't there to spend time at the campground.

Very nice camp spot, outstanding staff. Only one complaint. Because of the historic heat wave, it would have helped us a lot to be able to turn on a generator a bit earlier in the day. Like 3 pm to 6, instead of 6 to 8. Having hauled a huge house to the camp, it would have been much nicer to be able to use my air conditioner. Particularly during what we began to call, the "hydrocarbon hour" Too hot to close a window, yet the air was mostly charcoal starter and very smoky fires. Not that the weather is your fault, but if we could have applied to the camp host to run our very quiet generator earlier, we would not have left a day early. Just couldn't stand another day of 90 in the camper, with smoke blowing in one window and out the other. I totally understand restrictions on noisy generators all day, but for those of us who spend big bucks on a quiet one, we should be able to get permission to run it during a heat wave.

This was an amazing campground! We could take a short walk from our campsite to the canyon every night to watch the sunset! The sites were spacious and beautiful!

The North Rim has a lot to learn from the South Rim, particularly for the disabled. The trails are not very HCA at all, none with a view of the Grand Canyon. The Campsites are not only small but quite unlevel, we used every leveling block we had just on one side of the RV just to make it level. We had reservations for 2 nights but left after the first night. We did not enjoy the North Rim, Been There, Done That, will not return. The Motto, For the Enjoyment of the People is BS, it should be For the Enjoyment of Some People but only if you are ambulatory. The Lodge was no better. The Lifts were broke and they had no Ramps for the disabled. We had reservations for dinner but the Hostess was so uncaring about my wife's situation we left. The only place we she could go was to the Saloon and Gift Shop. This was not a great place to visit and the attitude of most of the employees was they didn't really care. The Barmaid was nice, and the volunteer at the visitor center was good, but that was about it. Even checking in the Ranger just didn't seem to care.

The campground and staff were very good. If rating on this alone, I would have given a 5 star rating. The big problem is the reservation system. First, you cannot make next day reservations. This is a problem if you are on the road with little or no cell or internet service, and no way to find out if there are any openings until you get there. The other big problem is how they handle reservations when the people are no-shows. We wanted to spend an additional night but there were no unreserved spaces. In a conversation with one of the staff, I was told that they had 40+ no shows for that day but couldn't release them to folks that were wanting a space. Seems to me that there has got to be a better way to handle this.

Very clean campground with great host and staff, Thanks for all you do.

Very nice campground. One way travel and design of sites left our RV with its door pointing away from site and toward road. Be careful about site selection as about 1/2 of sites will have this issue. Also not the sites are not level. We would have needed at least 6 inches of blocks to level our class b motor home. Clean bathrooms but shower and laundry were closed.
