Gorgeous campground with clean bathrooms and close proximity to amazing trails, bike or hike! Site 70 was extra spacious. General store is right in the campground.

Hidden gem, tucked into pine trees, with crisp mountain air. Huge campsites, quiet, clean facilities, great general store, and a perfect place to watch the sunset over the canyon.

Beautiful campsite. Friendly and helpful staff. Really close to the rim of the canyon for great views and sunsets.

Beautiful and quiet. Camp showers were a little blah.

Amazing campground. Literally at the rim of the Grand Canyon. Clean, with lots of space between shaded campsites. Campground is supported by good general store and hot (pay) showers.

Visited the north side many years ago with our children. This trip was with their children 35 years later. Much more organized than years ago with more people than we remembered. However, all the visitors we came across were polite and nice. Staff at the lodge were friendly and helpful which made our re-visit very good.

Everything was good with the exception of the initial encounter at the Check In, & the Host. The first was 100% due to the woman who helped us check in. I didnt get her name but I will remember her as Debbie Downer or Betty Bitter. Heres why: we checked in on Oct 11th and there was snow expected on the 12th. This employee acted like she would really prefer that we change our minds and turn and leave! Theres a way to be friendly and still serious about the potential threat of extreme weather. Never once smiled. Really, really unpleasant. We couldnt wait to get away from her and get to our site. And after THAT, the next morning, Tuesday, an older male camp host (?) came around questioning why we hadnt packed up to leave yet (around 9:30 am). Our Reservation was to check out on Thursday the 14th! When we offered at least twice to show him our printed receipt, he was flippant and dismissive. Totally unfriendly. Your Campground employees need some additional people skills Trainings. These 2 were both unfriendly and unprofessional. In complete contrast, the General Store employees were a delight, from an initial phone call to get some info before we drove up, to a young female clerk who rang up a purchase when the debit card system was acting up. 1000% difference from the 2 Campground employees mentioned above. The campground is lovely, the bathrooms were clean. The roads were plowed regularly (in direct opposite of what Bitter Betty advised would happen, I might add).

The North Rim Campground was a great place to camp. The restrooms were kept clean and stocked and were conveniently located to most sites and I'm glad that the fee to camp there isn't outrageous like fees are becoming at other places. We will be back.

After 36 visits over the past 20+ years I have to admit the North Rim is a very special place to me and my family. It is the best camping experience you can find in the west.Tony Esser

Very friendly staff at the campground and the parc rangers as well. Better book in advance, we had luck to get a spot as walk in, but it was the last one..,
