Although it was only 1 night, we had a wonderful time at Mather. Site 80 was a large site with plenty of space and privacy, surrounded by beautiful pines. Had a picnic table and campfire ring with attached BBQ. And the best part was being so close to all the major points of the Grand Canyon. The host was kind enough to let me know it was the week of the "star party" which turned out to be our favorite part of the visit!!

The campsite was spacious and clean. I would have given 5 stars except the mens bathroom was not cleaned from Thurs thru Sunday. Really nasty experience. Also, the water spicket was being licked by a full grown elk which made me think twice about elk saliva getting into my water jugs.

Camp sites are ok. The staff was great. The day we left they closed the camp due to the water main break. That was the only downer of the trip no showers available. It was supper crowded but still very beautiful.

The campground is very nicely laid out. The sites are separated in a way that you don't feel like you are on top of each other. The bathrooms were clean and convenient. We did not use the bus, but supposedly, it connected the campground to the different sites.We would definitely stay again.

Nice site. A bit close to park road so there is some road noise. Bathrooms clean. Pay shower house within walking distance, showers were very warm but could use a good cleaning. Laundromat was great, most machines were functional.

080, Fir Loop was a nice site with enough space. The dump station isn't well equipped for such a big campground.

Great first visit to the Grand Canyon! Campsite was clean, quiet and situated within easy walking distance to the canyon. The RV sani dump and water was not easily accessed and I cant imagine how busy it would be in the busier months.Enjoyed our night there for sure.

Excellent campground. Very neat and clean. Great biking and hiking trails immediately accessible. The generators from the RVs were a little annoying. This is the age of solar power. Everyone should be encouraged to ditch the noisy, gas generators and buy some solar panels.

There is a lot of area in each camping spot, so there is some degree of privacy from other campers. And the picnic table and fire pit is excellent. A beautiful spot to camp and very accessible to the Canyon view’s
