We spent 4 days at Mather Campground. The weather was unusually warm. The shuttle buses we very convenient and it was easy to get around the park without having to drive.I was surprised that the RV Dump station had only 1 access point but this proved to be a non-issue.We enjoyed our time at the campground. The restrooms were clean, the camp was quiet even though it was full.

This campground is difficult to obtain a reservation since it is located at the Grand Canyon south rim. We had terrific weather and enjoyed our time on the edge of the Grand Canyon. There are flushing toilets but no electricity or sewer. Water was available scattered throughout the campground.

This campground is so beautiful. The campsites are spaced far apart with plenty of free space in-between. The bathroom was clean and more modern than most National Parks. I wish the designers of this campground could influence all National Parks as to provide a wonderful camping experience for their guests.

Beautiful campground, lots of wildlife around (for better, or worse) Well-maintained by the staff. We wish that all those camping would follow the rules about food waste and not use the bathroom sink for dishes. The location made it very easy to access everything we wanted to do in the park.

Beautiful campsites but the bathroom is dated and I dont think it was cleaned regularly. The floors and sinks were very dirty.

The staff at the Ranger Station there at Mather Campground are very friendly and helpful. The campground is nice, fresh potable water available, fire pits, picnic tables and pull thrus large enough for my big truck and trailer. Great experience.

Showers could use some help. Dirty and smelled like sewer; however, Bathrooms were really clean. There wasn’t a presence of any kind of enforcement while staying and the smell of pot was very overbearing especially in the bathrooms, but I guess that’s our world right now. Staff that we did interacted with was super friendly. Spacing of spots was wonderful. Lovely wildlife everywhere. Stayed during a heat wave and still never felt hot. Close to everything. Store was just down the road and prices were higher, but some things seemed like a fair price. Ice is $4 a bag and $9 cube. Cube lasted 4 days while bags were daily. We enjoyed the tourist bus and stopping at the lookouts. Go to Mather lookout at night and checkout the star show. Beautiful.

Site 63 was fantastic; closer than most to the bus stop, away from the main roads and away from the noisy group campers. Lots of elk walking through sites and weather was perfect for no hookups. Ranger was great to stop neighbor from blasting music.

The campsite 063, Fir Loop was very nice and peaceful. Clean bathrooms. A little shade. Close to the shuttle pickup. The bicycle paths are great. The bike ride to Hermit's Rest is a great trip. During this time of year only the shuttles are on the road so riding on the road is much safer and very pleasant. Get an early start and you will feel like you have the canyon to yourself.

Camping in the pines in Fir Loop was beautiful, and peaceful. The short walk to the Camper Services building for showers and laundry was easy. We loved the North Rim trail and the scenic drive to Desert View.

Excellent check in both at park and at campground kiosk. Park staff courteous and efficient, smooth process. No line, most likely lots of cancellations as weather below freezing and snow was falling. Snow covered the campground but no issues pulling into our spot, 63 on Fir loop. Pay attention to online site descriptions of camping spots, a bigger RV wouldnt fit in this spot. Our RV has solar panels so we were able to stay warm without hookups, had some water in containers. Bummer we couldnt shower. Showers and laundry facility closed, not safe to walk on trails, due to weather. Shortened our stay but will be back in the future. Cant control the weather.

Quiet, clean, and well-managed campground close to South RIM and Market Plaza. There was a fair amount of shade. Roads, tables, and fire pits were in good condition, Restroom and RV dump station were clean and well maintained.
