Clean heated bathrooms. Drive through sites instead of back up. Cell phone coverage.

The ground was full of stones, we couldnt hammer tent stakes into the ground. Our spot was 035 Aspen loop. It was terrible.

Our campground was adjacent to the road. We were kept up all night by car driving by and lights. Apparently just down the road and within earshot was a couple of speed bumps and you could hear the cars hit the speed bumps first. It was awful as there was traffic on the road pretty much all night.

Impeccably run national park. Campground was first class.

Very nice campground with well-spaced sites. Each site having table/bench, grill, tent space, nice parking. Clean bathrooms with flush toilets. Good internet connection. Quiet at night. Friendly neighbors. There are several in-park stores for groceries, lots and lots of souvenir shops. The shuttle buses are great and well timed, drivers are very helpful and sometimes funny. Rangers and volunteers are great sources of information on hiking, etc - they are terrific!!

Mather is a great campground. Sites are fairly secluded, parking is easy, and the area is beautiful. There are miles of great walking and biking trails. One warning for RV campers: Some of the sites have small driveways that you pull through. However, the road is one way, so for RVers some of these sites will have your door facing the street not the campsite. If this matters make sure you look at your site on a map or video online.

Our trip to Grand Canyon, Mather campground. was great! except that the showers were closed by the time we got back from our hike. everything else were very good! thanks

Good signal, enough trees for hammocks, some spots are exposed to the highway so it can be noisy or lights flashing but only few sites like that. Ground soft enough for non freestanding tents but a little uneven and a lot of ground clutter but overall workable. Elk around, sometimes blocking showers. Very close to shops and canyon.

My site was close to the road, but that meant no neighbors on that side. Plenty of space for my tent and a nice woodsy feel despite being with hundreds of other people. Restroom was clean. Hot showers at the camper services building. Easy check in. Good value for the money.

Our first night was in preparation for our four day journey below the rim on Clear Creek Trail. It snowed that night. Wonderful. The trail below the rim was still damp which meant very little dust in the wind.

Our second night stay a Mather was after out four days below the rim. A great place to rest and relax. thank you.

The only disappointment came when a fellow camper in the spot next to us, we were at 110. Our neighbor had just returned from some place when they discovered that all of their camping gear was missing. We had just arrived ourselves, therefore we did not see anything to help recover their gear.

This is kind or discouraging - that people are showing a lack of respect for other peoples property. Do we need armed guards while camping in National Parks?

Thank you

This campground had very nice, spacious sites with pull through parking that made it easy to get in and out. The bathrooms were clean and water was accessible. There were elk roaming through the campground.

Spot 35 has cactus but other than that the campsite is great. As a whole it is quiet with proactive staff who do frequent rounds.

The campground is a super convenient place. We saw a lot of wild life while we where there. Not to mention the convenience of being a few minutes away from the trails... We were there on the first week of March and the temperature was around 10*F at night, super cold for someone coming to visit from California...
