Spent the night here before and after our R3. Great location and very quiet at night. Sites are nicely spaced so you dont feel like youre on top of each other.

We were at site 34 in a 26 foot travel trailer. The drive curves but wasn’t too difficult to set up in. Sites have a table and fire ring and fired were allowed. May 16-19 2023. The site was right next to the restrooms, which is both good and bad. Restrooms were flush toilets and well kept. There were pay showers within walking distance. $2.75 for 5 minutes. I did manage to shower and wash hair in 5! The Grand Canyon was amazing

The spot was right next to the bathroom, with the firepit right in front of the bathroom door. It should not be a spot.

First time at Grand Canyon. Staying at the campground made everything so accessible. The shuttle system is easy and helpful to access everything in the park. The scenery is spectacular. The campground is so beautiful and well taken care of. Showers and laundry facilities are are also so appreciated.

Disappointed they don't have rv parking near the showers and laundry very inconvenient to the point you can't use them if traveling in a rv

Great spots with lots of trees. Spots are far apart to give you great privacy. Super clean bathrooms and great staff to help you.

Mather Campground is a well designed campground considering it's large size (over 300 sites). The trees and the spacing between campsites allows for privacy. Each site has a pull through driveway, a large concrete bench and a fire ring. It is centrally located in the Park, within a couple of miles from the Visitor Center, The Market, The Village and the Rim of the Grand Canyon. You can even leave your car behind, and hike or bike, from Mather Campground to any of these locations on the many paved pathways. We would highly recommend this campground!

The campsite was easy to find and easy to access. There was plenty of room to park our RV. It was quite and cozy. The restrooms were clean with all amenities working. The campground was conveniently located near to all the park had to offer. Staying at Mather Campground really enhanced our stay at the Grand Canyon.

Nice campground nestled in the woods. Lication was wonderful, close to the grocery store, bike path. There were fire rings for a campfire, which was enjoyable! Quiet this time of year, except when some kids came in the evening and had a party with loud music. I believe they were chased away by the host, as they left.
