Overall the campground was a mess. We picked up over 100 pieces of trash such as bottle caps, old pieces of rope, plastic bits and so forth in just our campsite. The bathroom was not serviced for the entire two day stay. There was one clogged toilet, one with no toilet paper, no hand soap, and the trash can was overflowing for the entire time we were there.

The showers were a plus while camping. Restrooms were clean during the entire stay. I recommend this campground!

We love Mather Campground. The facilities are great - clean bathrooms, warm showers, scenic sites. Great access to all of the park's highlights using the bus or walking. We were able to get a FCFS site. Our only wish is that it was possible to claim a FCFS site for multiple days on the first day instead of having to show up before 8 AM each day to re-claim it.

My experience at Mather was great! Although I arrived late, I had no trouble finding the site I reserved. The site was clean and very spacious especially for a solo camper.

Clean facilities. Beware of shower hours though. Closed at 4 while we were there which makes a days worth of hiking a consideration if showers are closed when you get back.

The campsites at Mather are nice although pretty close together. The restrooms were convenient and clean. HOWEVER… be aware that showers are only available from 6am-1pm. Same goes for laundry. So if you’re expecting to get cleaned up after your long day of hiking, better bring a bunch of baby wipes.

Pretty good campsite. We never had any issues and the showers and bathrooms were nice and close too. The only complaint I have is that the site we were in (27) was close to the road leaving us with a lot of road noise.

The check in was great and the lady was very informative and detailed. The campsite was clean and nicely shaded. The bathrooms are clean and have soap and toilet paper. The location is amazing and so close to the park. I would definitely camp here again

Nice bathrooms, spacious pull through, plenty of trees. Showers & Laundry Facilities right next to the campground were closed, otherwise it's a 5 star.

From campsite #27, it is a 1.63 mile hike to Mather Point. It was amazing. The campsite was exactly as described. I really wish the showers and laundry had been opened. Seemed strange that the market was open but not the showers.
