Loved our stay here. We arrived quite late but were able to find our spot when we arrived and quickly check in the next morning. Campsites were in good order, bathrooms were clean, all facilities seemed to be working. Even my wife, who doesn't usually enjoy camping as much was really happy with Mather's. Will be back!

We stayed in site 10. It was perfect for tent camping! The store did not have firewood, but the park rangers kindly brought us some.

Plenty of shade trees, well-stocked and clean bathrooms, quiet neighbors (not something campground can control, but we appreciated the calm atmosphere), easy to use free shuttle to park, grateful for access to showers and laundry if we needed them

A great campground on the South Rim. Bathroom and water available. Easy public access to the South Rim area. Stayed at the campground for 2 nights prior to backpacking down into the Canyon for 3 nights. Would recommend the campground.

Solid campground. Running water toilets. Do not get the site that is basically inside the toilet...really should not be offered, it is that bad. Very large campground, but not a lot of space between sites. Tree cover and and there. No bear boxes needed.

Due to COVID, the showers facilities close early (roughly 12 p.m.). So, if you're doing long hikes and wont be back to the campsite until later afternoon, make sure you've got some wet-wipes with which to clean off. Or just enjoy your hard-earned FUNK and carry on.
The campsite was awesome, and we were visited by elk and deer on both nights. Super cool!!

One of the most beautiful places in the world. Super friendly vibe girl at the counter was very helpful. Will come back for sure!! World class.

Great campsite with very clean restrooms close by. There are lots of places to shop if you forgot or need to get something.

Overall a good experience. It could have been better If I had paid closer attention to the details. The site I chose allowed for generators to run in the morning and evening. This took away from the nature experience. This was not n the Pine loop. I will not camp there again. The shuttle’s and the showers were not available. Check that out before you go if that is important to you. The elk roaming around is always nice to see. I would suggest more details on the reservation page.
