The campsite was great and camp host very nice. The only downside this year was the bathroom sinks were not cleaned and were gross.

Great place to camp. Be ready to be awaken up by early hikers. Around 3 A.M. you can hear traffic start, campers getting ready head for the trail.

The campground was very clean and well maintained. After registering online did not even have to check in and never had to talk with anyone. The sites/access don't allow much ability to maneuver and change position of trailer or camper. The main thing was the showers though. They were clean and somewhat easy to use but are not located in a good spot. There is a fair amount of wildlife that passes through the area so be sure you read the campground rules. The campground was quite quiet.

Campsite was nice. Lots of space. Restrooms are very close. Shower facilities were good and despite online saying open till 6PM, their onsite signage said 10PM.

Small campsite, but we fit 5 1-2 person (backpacking) tents. It is close to the restroom, but not so close as to be bothered by the hand dryers within. It was convenient place to stay for one night before heading into the backcountry the following morning.

The staff was courteous and helpful, the campgrounds were nice and quiet. It was also clean and the instructions were clear to get in and out of there. The location was also nice, since stores were very close but you still have a wonderful sense of privacy. The stars light up the night and the wildlife wander through the campgrounds. Overall great camping experience!

A beautiful campground, a very nice camp site, quiet, peaceful, shady... easy to get around, the whole Park is well marked for getting round.

Campground and bathrooms were clean. The site had recycling and trash dumpsters on the way out to aid in the Zero Footprint approach. The camp hosts stopped by on our check out day to say good morning. Tent area was nice and quiet. Some campers disgustingly tried to leave their trash at their campsite upon checkout, but the camp hosts kindly asked them if they were going to pick up their trash, ensuring that the campers took care of such a great place. You must buy fire wood. No scavenging, it is dangerous and illegal. We saw a ranger put out a fire of a person who lit a 4 foot downed tree on fire with half of it sticking out of their fire ring-- rediculous. Thank you rangers and camp hosts for your work and thank you fellow campers for quiet and cleanliness. Bus, walk (takes time), or drive to the canyon-- super easy and convenient. The "general store" is basically a tiny walmart/kroger and has tons of things.

Amazing campground, warm and clean restrooms, centrally located and easy to access shuttles and general store. Lots of cow elk and deer when we arrived! Majestic, but keep a respectful distance!

Well I was there waiting to leave early the next morning for a backpack into the canyon. My "neighbors" were friendly and all dogs were kept on leashes, which I appreciated! The dogs were also uber friendly. The cg was well kept and convenience to water and bathrooms were good. I loved the fact that they were heated !! That was different for me :) I saw a group of elk in the early evening which was a thrill. One minor suggestion would be for some link that everyone has to click on that talks about noise level in the very early hours of the morning. I mean, I left at 5:30am but around 4am there was a group that got up to likely do some canyon exploring and talked in loud voices, laughing, and slamming car doors. For me, a minor inconvenience as I leave early too but for others, it could be a downer. I'm fairly certain they didn't realize it. I would recommend Mather - I typically do my "night before" there and always feel good about it.

Check in was great, the guy that helped me was friendly and helpful! Campground was nicely maintained even with the snow coming down.

Mather is a superb campsite and a great base for exploring the Canyon. Ample water, clean restrooms, proximity to Grand Canyon Village, showers and the General Store; frequent visits by wildlife (including huge Elk), a great staff of Rangers, nice-sized sites with easy access, and the spectacular scenery of the Grand Canyon make Mather one of the finest campsites I've stayed at in over 60 years of camping.

The site was nice. I like the pull through parking. The bathrooms were close. Showers/laundry shut down at 1pm
The campsites were too far to walk to the buses - This is where bikes would come in handy.
The soap dispenser was mostly broken during our visit. I asked the camp host about it and her comment was that they have only had soap for about 3 years and to bring my own soap....

Mather Campground is just beautiful and the sites are spaced just far enough apart to give great privacy! My grandkids met some friends from California and had a blast playing! The Elk are beautiful and it is so fun to see them wandering around the campground. The only negative was the showers were closed but at least the bathrooms were open. We will definitely be back!

Beautiful campgrounds that were clean and well kept. Very clean restrooms as well. Showers were out but understood due to covid so it wasn’t an issue. My family and I had a great experience.
