One of the best camp sites in the US

If your over 26 feet in one of those quarter turn off spaces then find a different spot. the boulders that outline the space will be in your way.

Magic place, the only one negative thing are the dogs barking at night and the excrements people didt picked up

Second time at the Grand Canyon South Rim. First time camping at Mather. The loop parking made it easier for two cars two get in and out. Campsite was close to showers and shuttle stop. Will stay at campgrounds again next visit.

Nice campground with warm/cold showers as well as washing machines and dryers (additional charges. Shower cost 2.50 $ for 5 minutes).Flush toilets were clean. Very good location to see the Grand Canyon

We stayed a few nights and was pleased with the easy access to the General Store, bus stops, and the shower/laundry facilities. An extra treat was the elk in the immediate area.

Such a user-friendly campsite. There was plenty of space for our family of six, and we had easy access to bathrooms and water. We will be back!

Stayed just one night as we hiked below the rim the next day. Pleasant place to stay. Nice facilities, close to the market and visitor center.

Enjoyed the Mathers campground. Beautiful and peaceful place to set up. Mathers shower station was close to our site so were were able to walk to get nice hot showers.

Nice, quiet and clean campground, we highly appreciate it! Site was perfect, close to the restrooms, showers and not far from the shuttle stop.

I had a wonderful time and was so glad to snag a spot so I could be there for sunrise; which made getting there after dark well worth it. Campground was well marked and neighbors were friendly.
