Campsite 91 was a huge campsite. Many spots to place tents with lots of trees for shade. Close to 2 different restrooms. Neighboring campsites are not that close which is nice.

Camping sites are not adapted to rooftop tents and sites are too close from each others.

Such a nice campground!! I stayed one night and loved it so much that I immediately snagged another spot for a second night. Super quiet campground even when most spots were full. Short walks to the bathrooms were also nice. Would recommend catching the Blue Line bus into the Village instead of driving as the bus stop is right at the beginning of the camp. The village market has anything you need if you forgot, including gear. Would also recommend catching the constellation talks from the rangers!

It was a very nice campground. One of the faucet in the men's bathroom didn't work and one of the stalls didn't have a toilet seat. Other than that, everything was nice. The park hosts were nice and friendly.

Plenty of space and felt private compared to other campsites.

Campsites are well-maintained. Far enough apart for a little bit of privacy mostly pull through short walk down to the village and the ram itself. Thats an excellent place to camp.

Beautiful campsite with lots of trees; great picnic table (concrete) and nice level areas for tent placement. Bathrooms were warm and clean.

We stayed at Mather Campground for 2 nights in mid-september 2022. The check-in was easy and the guy was very nice. Our camping spot was huge (lot 091) and the neighbors were far enough on each side. There were many beautiful trees. The restrooms were close by as well as the water station. The grocery store was not too far away so that was a bonus as we were out of some food items! The bus shuttle was a short walk away, it was great camping ON the Grand Canyon national park, it was very special. I would for sure stay there again! :D

Great campgrounds, clean restrooms and we loved seeing the elk up close and personal. Very quiet and just all around fun.

CHECKIN PROCESS SUPER ORGANIZED. SITE VERY CLEAN AND NEWLY PAVED. NICE AND LEVEL BATHROOM IMMACULATE. VERY NICE FOR WHAT IS OBVIOUSLY A VERY BUSY CAMPGROUND.

Sunset at the rim was great. The bus system made it easy to get around without a vehicle and the drivers were helpful with directions for switching routes.

Incredibly well kept, clean bathrooms and facilities. Staff was friendly, helpful and made the trip all the better. Our camp was clean, well-maintained and full of wonderful wildlife and friendly neighbors. This is what camping should be — and so close to the Grand Canyon. It was extra nice to be within the park and able to easily explore.

Spacious sites and clean facilities. Potable water stations were also very accessible. Elk watching by day, stargazing by night. The ravens do come by to hunt for scraps so be diligent about taking trash to the dumpster and animal-proofing your site especially when you're venturing out.

No showers, no place to change for campers, no hot water in the cold. It should have been CLEARLY stated that when booking this campsite that the showers were still closed bc of Covid. Everyone was finding this out as they pulled up to the ranger station. A big nasty surprise for us since we had just camped at a lake for 2 days without showers. When I arrived there was a girl crying bc she was there tenting for a week without a shower. That's not fun and it kinda ruined our big trip.

@MICHAELB955 · Camped on Mar 7, 2021 at Campsite #91
Great campsites, well-paved roads, quiet (site 91), beautiful trees, and terrific night sky. The dumpsite is not very good. My sewer hose would not fit into the opening (it sat on a lip about 4" down) and it looked like others had similar issues as there was a fair amount of waste around the opening. Did not see a hose to rinse the area down either.
