This is one of my favorite campgrounds, anywhere. Great sites, clean facilities, easy access to the rim and to shuttles.

Absolute joy to finally be here. Clean, spread out well. Safe. Great location to walk to bus stop and get practically anywhere you want to go, for FREE. I will be back for sure.

We stayed in a tent camping site. It was incredible! Deer walked right through our campsite will be a core memory for us. It was great that there was showers available for $2.50. This campsite was a very short drive from the Grand Canyon which made it really convenient to watch the sunrise at mathers point! I would absolutely stay here again with my dog and family.

We absolutely enjoyed our trip to Grand Canyon. One thing I would like to alert other guest is parking at your campsite. It states in the booking that you can park a max of two cars but that wasn't true for our site. We were told that our tires could not be on the soil so that only allowed for one car to fit in the site. The pavement for our campsite parking was crumbling.Besides that we had so much fun. Bathrooms were clean and the campsite was very clean and spacious.

Campsite was wonderful. Very helpful to those who arrive late after traveling. The wifi is very good around the south rim which is very helpful for navigating the South Rim. Everything was nearby. We even were able to get up early to watch the sunrise. It was nice to be so close to everything. The campsite is well laid out and there are a few paths and the market is nearby. We love that its pet friendly. It was nice to be able to take our pup around the entire paved South Rim trails. We cant wait to go back!

Great stay at Mather Campground! Good spacing of sites, convenient access to water and bathroom facilities. Would look for this site again for future visits to the South Rim area of the park.

There is no trash dumping box. The recycling box is for trash?
