stayed 2 nights @ Mather Campground. loved it. everything was clean. friendly staff and friendly people too. toilets were clean and room heated. was a great experience to go to the loo on a very cold night and find a warm room to do my business...while we were there we had some snow and everything turned into a white "fairyland'. just loved it. the shuttle buses were great. less traffic on the road, less pollution too. the buses turned up every 10min or so. there was hardly any waiting.all in all we had an amazing time at GrandCanyon. we loved it and were sad to leave it. such a beautiful place and so much to see and explore.....

This is a beautiful, and in our experience, very quiet campground. The grounds were lovely and well-kept. Our only complaint is that our campsite was a pull-through but was literally on the side of the road, there was no buffer between our site and the road. Also the site was on a fairly steep incline which was slightly worrisome for us on our first night camping, but we were able to level out and were fine the rest of the trip.

Very convenient campground, everything you need is there (dumping + water supply for RV was super easy). Loved the location and hope to return some day

great spot to camp.

Nice spacing between sites.

Excellent hiking biking trail adjacent to camp.

Pretty quiet in early Nov maybe half full.

We stayed three nights in a 16 foot tear drop style camper. Nice campground with flushing toilets and a dumpster to dispose of garbage just a short walk from our camp site. The campground was clean and well maintained. We observed elk on several occasions strolling through the campground. The campground is Close to the canyon and the market area where you can purchase groceries, ice, camping gear, clothing, trinkets. Etc. We had a great time exploring around the South Rim. Highly recommend. I would stay there again.
