Campground is clean and easy to navigate. The shuttle service is great, the bathrooms are typically clean.

Its a good spot if you are hiking into the canyon and its nice to camp when coming out of the canyon. Check-in was good, very friendly and helpful. Cant say the same about fellow campers, lots of car door slamming, and I had the experience of a camper running its generator for serveral hours in the evening which totally takes away from the experience of tent camping. Water at the showers was turned off while I was there, but Im sure that will get fixed soon.

Quick & easy check in, facilities what you need for a simple campsite. Well spaced from other pitches. Very quick drive to main visitor facilities for the park

The Mather campground (Maple Loop) was clean and had plenty of space for 4 kids to explore and play in. It was a bit of a walk to get from the Maple loop to the bus stops but it was doable. I would highly recommend the Mather campground!

Wish showers were open at night, but it was a great time to be out. Very nice campground. Level and not too rocky. Thanks to NPS for the good service.

Showers were closed because of Covid, but nonetheless the campsite was perfect. Spacious sites, friendly neighbors, and a chance to have wildlife right at your tent. The check in process was very easy and it is the closest place to camp to the south rim.

Everything was perfect except the fact the showers are closed. We had a blast though. We would 100% do again!!
