The campground is very close to the canyon and just a walk from the visitor center.spot 181 was perfect for us:)

The campground was great and we loved our visit. Our only issue was that we are a family of 7 with small children, and campsites are only for six people. This means we would have to book 2 campsites right next to each other, for just one family tent. Booking two sites right next to each other is almost impossible at popular parks. Please change this rule to accommodate large families!

Got mixed information when registered. Had to go back to ensure our reservations for the next night were correct. Everything else was Good

It was a very nice campground, just bummed we couldn't get a least one more night. We were only able to book for one night. Clean bathrooms, camp sites weren't too close together.

It gets VERY dark here, so be prepared with a flashlight for bathroom trips, and make sure you look up at night. Generator hours are strictly enforced; they will come find you and educate you if you run outside of the posted times (saw it happen twice). Site was larger than the web description led us to believe, but I'm not sure I'd want to put a bigger trailer than our 16 footer into it (maybe that's just because I don't want to tow a bigger trailer). The roads through the campground are quite narrow, so keep that in mind if you're in a bigger RV/Trailer.

Overall, bathrooms were clean, campground is very pretty, and has quite a bit of shade. Definitely would do it again.
