Wonderful campground! I was there in November, it was super quiet and easily accessible. Park rangers were friendly and helpful, price was right!

We stayed at two different sites in juniper loop. Both were really calm and close to the restrooms, very shaded. Elks were roaming around it was beautiful. Short ealk from the shuttle station. The whole campground is built in a way you feel really isolated. There was a picnic table and a fire ring, trash can nearby and a tap. At the entrance there is a place to fill water and empty the rv.

Overall good experience. Trail guides, maps, and park info are easily accessible and well documented. Restrooms were clean and functional, and campgrounds are well maintained.

Nice site with a little shade for your car in the middle of the day. The toilets are clean although the floor was always dirty (as in dirt not rubbish). The showers down the road were clean and I never had to wait. Check out Angel cycles for breakfast/lunch sandwiches.

Campground is wonderful! Has always been 5 stars on our past visits. Broken women's toilets in Juniper Loop were not typical.

First, because there was so much snow, we couldnt access our assigned site. Upon presenting our handicap sticker to the agent and asking for anothet site, he did not give us a large (and very available) handicap spot but rather a slightly larger spot than the first one, making it difficult for my handicapped husband to access. Shame on them. Second, each night we encountered a half dozen squatters, and that was only in our loop. We never once saw any personnel patrolling the area. And when we reported this, we were blown off.

It was our first time visiting the Grand Canyon and we were surprised by the forest environment with elk around. Awesome campsite! Good bathrooms. Would definitely stay again!

Early March is a fantastic time to make full use of the campgrounds. Bring lots of layers and a heat source, as it can get super cold. Everything was great!

An amazing NPS campground. Huge sites, spread way apart. Quiet and smells great among the yellow pines.

Nice quiet campground, little confusing finding way around the south rim area, and be prepared for lots of people everywhere, including on the trails even very very early morning. Overlook areas along route 64 to the east are some of the best sites and less crowded.

Mather was a great campground. Very close to everything and very clean. We got yelled out for running our generator for too long. Other than that 100% will recommend.
