Enjoyed my stay a lot! Everything was well organized, easy to find, the nature was just amazing!

It was easier to find a spot that I thought. Great location, close to everything. Definitely would stay there again, especially if planning to visit for more than a day. The only little issue we had, was the shower; we have to pay to take a shower and it's timed to 5 min only.... this was different than other camping places we've stayed at.

Sites are well maintained, bathrooms convenient and I love that the showers are open year round. Had to change my reservation online and that was easy too. Great experience

Everything was very convenient with restrooms, shower, and laundry. It was overall a nice family camping experience.Except the night of camping we were late to go sleep finally almost 11PM. A big RV pulled up next to our campsite shining headlights right at our tent. The thing is we booked our site in Pine Loop where only tents are allowed. And the reservations are hard to get just fyi. Next morning, I noticed that the RV is occupied by a German speaking family most likely tourist from Europe. You see a lot of foreign tourists at Grand Canyon this time of the year.

3-day camping is a better plan to explore Grand Canyon with ease in summer.
If you want to explore Bright Angel trail down to 3 mile ponit, I may suggest you to start your journey befor 6 am.

We arrived at our campsite and it not been completely plowed. We expected snow and were prepared for it, but our spot had not been completely cleared. The snow was pushed into a pile at the end of the space, so we were unable to fit our camper and Truck into the spot. There was a path cleared to the picnic table but the fire pit was full of snow. There was no one at The Ranger station to assist us either. We ended up having to get a hotel

I stayed for 2 nights in December. The camp sites are beautiful and the bathrooms were spotless and warm. I only had one problem. The camp site was full of snow so when I parked in the camp store parking lot to do some rearranging of stuff in my van, a park ranger pulled up and full on put a bright flashlight in my face for a long time while interrogating me about what I was doing even after I told him I had a reservation at the camp ground etc. it was all rather unnecessarily abrasive. Everything else was beyond great.

Great check-in experience and no need to check out. Campsite was well sign-posted to find the pitch. Bathrooms were VERY clean and well-maintained. Separate area for tents and those without generators, so it was pretty quiet. The showers are in a separate block close to the entrance, so you probably need to drive to them. Also they close early in the day (4.30pm if I remember correctly) so don't expect to shower if you finish your hike late. Be aware of the ravens, they are as savage as the wardens warn you! They will disturb anything left outside, on your table that is not held down, trying to get food. We left non-food outside in a heavy plastic box and they still managed to overturn it and overturn the table.Enjoy the elk that roam through the campground at a safe distance, magical site.

Employee at check-in was courteous and helpful. Also mid-stay when I had questions, because I would be camping on a permit below the rim for a few days in the middle of my Mather reservation, but I was returning for a night before leaving the Canyon. The grounds were well kept and spacious for my needs.

The location was beautiful and very well cared for. Our only complaint was the meteorologists that got the weather forecast all wrong. Brrrrrr!
