We had what is probably the worst campsite at the campground, site 171. It's a rocky mess and it's a hazard to try to walk through. The stone picnic table was filthy with grease stains so we avoided it. But the campground as a whole is beautiful and we had no issues with other campers. Having the elk stroll through everyday was neat. The bathrooms aren't being cleaned properly. We were there for three days and the sink drains were never cleaned. The soap dispenser was busted too. It was nice having a dish washing station. That came in handy. We'll be back someday, but I'll certainly research which site to pick next time.

Very clean bathrooms. Excellent location.
The bus transit stop and Market were both very close to the campground. The staff was helpful.
All in all.. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED

Overall, a nice campground. As a tent user, I felt the campsites were a little close together. However, since I was primarily there just to sleep it was not really an issue. A very quiet campground ( once generators are turned off).

I was a bit confused at the shower situation. After setting up camp, I was ready for a shower. Ran into another family also looking for the showers and we walked around until we were met by a park staff member. Turns out, the showers are inside the laundry building and, due to staffing issues, was only open from 6A to 1P.

The showers were very nice and clean and I think around $2.50 for 5 minutes. The staff was extremely friendly.

Overall, it was a very good experience!

We stayed on Juniper Loop. Our site backed up to the paved Visitor Center to Tusayan trail which was great to walk the dog. The site had a fire ring, a picnic table, and ample shade. The bathrooms had flush toilets and were stocked with tp. Water was easy to find (via spigots around camping area), and tastes fine. 10/10 would recommend. Even though it’s busy, it was spacious enough and quiet enough to be comfortable.
