Nice campground, close to the rim, store and Kolb Studio, which I was interested in seeing. Quiet hours were respected. Loud before 10 p.m. but in the excited way a young group gets, not obnoxious drunks, etc. Plenty of room for tent and car, easy to follow roads. Very pleasant.

Excellent experience. Tent site, no hook ups, was clean and level. Convenient to facilities. Bonus - weather was absolutely perfect. Enjoyed day hikes and riding our bikes from the campground, via paved bike bath, to Tusayan village for lunch one day.

Staff was very friendly. Check in was easy. Restrooms were clean and staff checked them twice a day at least. Would stay again.

We tent camped in mid-October and the campground was fairly quiet. It was dark around 6:30 at night and things were pretty calm after it got dark. We were near the bathrooms and that was about the only light around so bring a flashlight or head lamp with you. The stars were really bright and beautiful. Our tent site was level and only a few feet from our car and the picnic table. The only disappointment was that the showers were only open until 4pm so we had to cut our hiking short to get a shower.

The campground was great! Very clean.
Campsites are a little bit on the crowded side. However I know they need the quantity. I would definitely recommend!

Beautiful area, we even had elk walk through our campsite! Loved the canyons and bus service which made moving around so easy. My only concern is that the tent campsites are very tightly packed in fortunately, all of our neighbors were respectful and quiet. Beware of the mischievous Ravens and Squirrels ;)

A nice clean camp site with running water and flushing toilets, within easy distance of the canyon rim and trails.

Everything was amazing. Sights are a little small. Wild life everywhere you look. Bathrooms were very clean. All in all I would give it 99% !!??????????

Loved our stay at the campground, the location can’t be beat, pretty much everything in the park is walking distance away or accessible but shuttle. Tent spot was shaded and we had plenty of space

Mather Campground is always a nice place to camp. Some inconvenience this time that the village shuttle buses weren’t running because of COVID.
