I've camped in this spot twice. It's a good spot, but against the road, so it can be kind of noisy at night. We had some elk walk through our campsite which was cool. There was no water which was inconvenient because the site details said there was water and the ranger pointed out to us where to get water, but it was off for the season. That detail should be added to the reservation. Overall it was a good campground, quiet and clean

Great camp setup and on Park grounds. Suggestion is have a bike and avoid the hassle of finding a parking spot as you enjoy the South Rim

Wonderful location with a great staff. The individual sites are just the right size for most tents and do not feel cramped by the other campers next door. Just a short drive or walk to the market. Longer walk to the Grand Canyon Visitor Center but is it walkable distance (plan 30- 45 minute walk from south end of Juniper Loop along the Grand Canyon Village Greenway). All other Grand Canyon sights are just a short drive away for the exception of Desert View which requires a personal vehicle or shuttle bus to reach. Looking forward to staying here in the near future.
