Very well spaced sites and convenient access

Cooling down spot in summer. But it was too far to get to the restroom and trash area.

Tons of wildlife wandering the grounds! Elk, deer, coyotes, you name it!

Super convenient, much quieter and more private than expected. Made it easy to get an early start and catch the sunrise

Facilities were clean and well maintained. Camp host was great. My only complaint would be the proximity of the sites to one another but I suppose that's expected in such a high use high demand area. Overall great experience.

Everything, except 1 thing, was great! The showers and laundry hours were not great as they closed at 4pm. Which is not helpful when you go on an adventure for the day and want to get cleaned up when you get back but can’t due to the showers are closed.

Everything else was wonderful!

Terrific campsite. The bugling elk were a bonus!

We really enjoyed our stay. We saw many elk during our visit. It was close to all the trails. The campsite was large with a lot of space for privacy.

A beautiful place to stay while visiting this amazing park. Good spacing between the sites, lots of trees, the only complaint is that water and restroom facilities can be quite a walk away...

Staff was welcoming and helpful at check-in. Site was easy to find and perfect for our setup. Deer and elk were all over the campground welcoming us in. Thankfully we went right out to the Mather viewpoint to take in the awe and wonder...because we quickly were enveloped in a winter storm. The clouds filled the canyon and viewing was over for our trip. We toured the museums and gift shops finding friendly staff everywhere. By morning we were under a few inches of snow, but the staff was helpful and working furiously to plow and clear main pathways. I'm 2 for 2 with snow at the Grand Canyon now...maybe the 3rd time will be the charm!
