Very clean and spacious campground. Had good phone signal. Not crowded during winter time.

Quiet, winter-time camping with an easy walk to anywhere in the Village and along the Rim. Water tap worked great and the hot shower for $2.50 was a real treat.

Amenities were great. This campground seemed to attract younger people who liked to stay up way later than us! Pack earplugs and you should we good to go.

It was a great spot for tent camping. The services, general store, showers, laundry room very close. Also each tent spot had its fire pit. My family really loved the experience and the surroundings. Highly recommend.

I always reserve in Pine Loop because generators are not permitted there and people are generally veteran campers and respect the rules on quiet hours.

it was amazing to be able to walk the rim trail before it got crowded

Stayed on the Pine loop at site 296. Was a perfect site for what we were looking for. Close enough to amenities, but secluded from many others. We stayed in late-Oct and it was a quieter weekend altogether, but I imagine it would be quiet compared to some other sites. The site was quite large and well maintained with fire pit and table. Showers and laundry were easy to use and much appreciated after a few days of hiking in the canyon. Definitely recommend!

Overall a great campground. For light sleepers, the tents are placed close to each other and since it is so quiet over there, you may hear people from other tents. The showers take 10 quarters for 5 minutes and they are moderately clean.Bathrooms are cleaned every day. Buses take you to major locations in the park. Recommended activities include Bright angel hike, South Kaibab hike, taking the bus to 9 stops to hermits point, Desert view watch tower.

Amazing site with self check-in if arriving after dark. Bathrooms around 30 yards from site, with two drive in spots for vehicles. Very secluded compared to some of the other sites. Fire pit and table provided. Ranger was helpful after checking in in the morning.

A great place to camp. You can see the stars and smell the fresh air. The bathrooms were not unpleasant, so that was nice as well.

We camped in pine loop. Great camp site with fire pit and table. Short walk to toilet block(no showers) walking track through campsites and through park to view GC. Campsite also walking distance to market store. Easy access to shuttle although we didn’t use it. GC at sunset a must see.

Snowfall made landscape beautiful. Snow covered trees and the campfire was best part! Warm campfire 9n a snowy day was a great experience. We saw elk and deer walk thru our camp.

The campsite was great, shaded most of the day. Pretty close to one of the neighbors though who had a big party so was loud the first night.

Camp sites were nice. Camp bathrooms were nice. However, don't plan on taking a showing anytime you want to. Plan ahead!!! The showers are only open for limited hours and then when they are open they have only every other shower available too because of COVID. It makes no sense to have to stand in a line right by someone to "then" social distance with a wall, empty stall and another wall between you. We can't understand why a glass or plastic divider anywhere else is acceptable for COVID but a bathroom shower wall isn't enough of a barrier.

It is a huge campground, but all the sites are laid out so well and spread out in such a way that we never felt like the place was overcrowded or full of people. We stayed in the tent only loop and unfortunately had some loud neighbors who also ran a generator one night (even though no generators are not allowed in this section!), but otherwise, very quiet and pleasant. Both the shower facilities down the road and bathrooms in the campground are clean and well kept (and heated! which was a mega plus during this chilly time of year). Plus, the best part of this campground is, when you wake up, you are in the National Park!
@RyanL788 · Camped on Oct 22, 2021 at Campsite #296
Great campground. Considering it's a massive campground with hundreds of sites, you actually have a decent amount of space between campgrounds, which I wasn't expected. Also, the bathrooms were surprisingly flush toilets (not compost).
@anthonyh450 · Camped on Oct 3, 2021 at Campsite #296
Bathrooms were clean and fresh, and the Elk Show was very exciting. The only recommendation would be to ensure that every tent site has a cleared rock-free tent pad.

Nice large site with shade trees. Very clean bathrooms. Red flag warning cancelled the campfire on the 3rd night and it was no windier than earlier nights.
