Very beautiful campground with an unbelievably convenient location. We were in a 25' TT and booked one of the pull-through loops. The fit was a little tight because of the tight radius, but we were able to back the trailer into the loop instead of pulling through. The fit was wonderful after that. Very quiet and serene atmosphere. The bathrooms were very well taken care of, the staff was lovely and the dump station has two areas you can use to drain your rig. Even though generators are allowed during certain hours, I don't think that we heard a single one running.

A wonderful campground for those in tents and small RVs to visit the south rim. THere are also nice bicycle paths to the nearby GC Village grocery store (a REAL grocery!) and over to the main visitor's center and to the Bright Angel Area.

I loved this campground! Sites were large, and spaced well.even had an elk visiting us regularly! Rangers were helpful, campground hosts were involved. I loved being a mile walk from the Rim Walk! And it was very easy to get around the park with the free shuttles!!

Nice and big campsites, perfect location, generators hours were a little short. Would have liked a couple hours mid day to cool off with young kids so they could nap

we always stay at mather. great sites, well maintained. good spacing between sitesyou never feel crowded. thanksgiving weekend is the perfect time to be at grand canyon. the campground is quiet, the air is crisp, and the shuttles are still running.

Spacious camp sites, restrooms and shower/laundry were nice and clean. Close to tram stop to for the park shuttle service. Elk walked thru our site, we had a wonderful time during our stay here.

Nice campground, we were there in Nov and it wasnt very crowded. I woundt want to camp here when it is full. We could hear cars on the road going over rumble strips all day and night. That was probably the worst part. We will come back again in Nov- APR. would avoid the other months.

Sites are relatively level. Clean all asphalt. Bathroom is clean. Easy biking or walking to supermarket. Lots of elk roaming.

I would have like the showers to be open in the late afternoon / evening rather than 6:00 AM to 12:30 PM

The campground was very well maintained and bathrooms/showers clean. I could not give it an excellent due to the hours the showers were open. They were open 6am - 1pm, with temps over 100 degrees a person needs to clean up prior to retiring for the evening. Several people washed up in the sinks of the bathroom. Not ideal with the doors opening to the public. Otherwise, we enjoyed being so close to the canyon and the Canyon village. Bike trails were paved and many elk could be seen while riding.

Very nice pull out loops make it easy and fast to get settled in. Everything is well maintained and clean though no showers open right now so I can’t speak for that. I didn’t make a reservation as I wasn’t sure if my plans. Boondocking off the rim road was available and while in the park anyway I checked at the campground- they were able to give me 3 nights in one spot starting 2 days later. The campground was full each night but you may get something if you show up early.
