Great pull-through site (#201) that fit our 23-foot RV well. We could see and hear our neighbors but felt we had sufficient enough space to enjoy our privacy at our campsite, and there was no issue with noise aside from a group of motorcycle campers to one side of us. A beautiful and peaceful stay with lots of elk, birds, chipmunks, clean bathrooms, and friendly, welcoming rangers. Wed love to stay here again.

Had a great pull through site for our van. Quiet at night and a clean. Only negative was the ranger during check in was EXTREMELY talkative to everyone in line and not about rules or information but about what theatre troop theyre in and etc. (the line was very long because of this).

Great site. 201 Oak loop. I had a small 20 foot trailer so I had no problem getting it in the spot. Swing wide as you can in the pullthrough.

Due to the rather extreme weather for our drive, and when we would have been there, we tried to cancel on the web and on the phone but there was some sort of phone crisis in rec.gov that day so nobody answered and after 20 minutes we were cut off! Abandoned that week, but now in Zion for a week and loved it. Cold.

The campground was great, nice campsites, clean bathrooms, quiet and peaceful. Better signage from the campground to the rim and the village would be helpful for those walking or riding bikes.

We had a wonderful stay at the campground, site 201, in mid October. The sites are spacious and pretty, and it was quiet even though most sites were reserved. We loved the Greenway, and rented bikes to get around. The facilities were clean and staff was very helpful.

Our first time to the Grand Canyon! Mather’s is a beautiful campground with spacious sites. We have a 22 ft RV. Not sure how bigger rigs get around but we were ok. Campground was close to store and GC pathway. Loved it there!

The campground was.quiet, well maintained and beautiful. Best of all were the elk wandering around in the mornings.

We enjoyed Mather on Campground during our early May visit. The campground is pleasant, with mature trees and pretty well-spaced sites. Availability of potable water is adequate. Bathrooms were clean. No showers, of course. No firewood at the ranger station, although wood was available at the camp store. Easy access by vehicle to the camp store and to Mather Point/Rim Trail and the Visitor Center. It's also not a long hike to most of the key sight-seeing spots. We used our RV to get around more than we wanted because the central blue shuttle line was suspended due to COVID restrictions.
We stayed on three different sites, and our only criticism is that on one site the asphalt was breaking up, which made leveling our RV a bit tricky. We did enjoy the native visitors that wandered through, including quite a few inquisitive ravens and a family of elk.
It's worth noting that internet and cell coverage are non-existent in the campground and very spotty elsewhere in the park. When we absolutely needed service on one occasion, we sat close to one of the lodges and "borrowed" its signal.

What a beautiful location. Against some boulders but not quite as busy as other sites. Can’t wait to come back.
