What an amazing campground. The staff is all very helpful and knowledgeable. The restrooms are clean! A shuttle that will take you from the campground to the rim that stops @9 pm. The shuttle passes about every 20 min. From the campground to the rim is about a mile. The showers take quarters (10 quarters = 5 min shower) also have washers and dryers in the same building. I highly recommend bringing your own, the change machine was out of quarters. Short drive to the market if you forgot any necessities. Have fun! Most importantly stay safe! <3

Mather Campground was quiet and sites were spread out. We love the sites not close to each other. Our tent site has a flattened platform for our tent. However we chose a spot between a few trees that has ann by lot of soft needles fallen. This is a soft bed for us. Staff at the campsite registry were very nice. We enjoyed our stay.

The site is well prepared with a flat area clean from rocks for the tents. The only complaint is with shower and laundry facility, which closes early before 4 pm. $2.5 for 5 mins shower is quite expensive and worst of all, theres no curtain between shower stall and the area where you change. So you need to remember not to put your dry clothes on the bench and shovel your shoes as far away as possible. No dryer either so If you do charge the shower I do expect a bit more amenities in the shower room.

Excellent experience at this campground. Clean bathrooms, showers and laundromat are a nice plus, impressive general store nearby that has just about everything you might need.

Nice campsite with flush toilets. Good sized fairly private sites with a nice view. Close to shuttle buses - once we were parked we took them everywhere. Close to rentals (boots, bikes etc.) and pay showers. Very happy with our stay.

We made a reservation and we are glad that we did. The campsite was full on both days that we stayed. A bus station is a short distance away that will take you wherever you want to go into the park. The staff cleans out the fire pit once a week. Campsite was clean with flat ground for the tent.

Nice sites, lots of shade trees, quick bike ride or hike to the Visitor Center, short walk to the General Store. Hope to go back again!

The sites were nice and far apart. We had nice neighbors. However, having RV's in with tents really should be a no-no. Generators are terrible, even when run in the acceptable time periods. We were very grateful to the ranger who provided us with a jump box for our dead battery...we will never try and charge accessories in the car again! LOL. We had snow at our site and that was amazing. Beautiful!
