We had a wonderful stay at Mather Campground! From the moment we arrived, the experience was excellent the ranger who checked us in was fantastic: friendly, helpful, and really set a great tone for our visit. The campsites themselves were very well maintained clean, organized, and thoughtfully spaced out for a comfortable experience. You can tell the staff takes real pride in keeping the area in top shape. One of the best things about Mather is its location: its just a short walk or shuttle ride to Grand Canyon Village, making it incredibly convenient for accessing the rim, visitor centers, and other amenities. You get the feeling of camping in a forest while still being right next to all the main attractions.Overall, we highly recommend Mather Campground to anyone visiting the South Rim. Its a perfect base for exploring the Grand Canyon!

This was our third time camping there, and we have an amazing experience each time. Easy process to check in and always clean and well taken care of

Staying at the campground with my siblings was so much fun. We had a delightful time and it's easy to get around to all the north rim sights.

Mather campground is clean and easy to get around! I enjoyed the showers and laundry not being too far from the campground, located right at the front! I also loved how close Mather was to Yavapai lodge for coffee in the morning.

The campground is clean. The amenities are nice. It’s very organized. Occasionally there are people who are a bit loud, but overall a very good experience.

Even though the campsites are close together, we didn’t feel crowded at all. It was enough space and privacy from the trees to make it feel like we were just camping with a crowd. It was just myself and my son and we had a wonderful experience! Super easy check in. The site had multiple options for our tent to be set up. Bathrooms were clean even in the late evening hours. Definitely a place we would camp again!

Our stay was pleasant.. Only complaint was the high winds and cold nights while we were there. Thanks Ranger Jane!!!
