We enjoyed our stay. It is a nice campground. Very tidy, lot of space. It is not far to the Shuttlebus - so you can explore everything without needing to drive yourself.

We have stayed at Mather several times and have always enjoyed it. The sites are large, bathrooms are clean, and the location is excellent- you can walk to the store and to the village. We often shared our campsite with several elk. And to be that close to the Grand Canyon is amazing!

Our site was huge! Easy to pull in and a short walk to the bathrooms. The surprise were the elk that just walked through our campsite and later met us at the bathroom. We walked the short path to the Plaza Market for some snacks and breakfast. Would love to return one day.

Nice campground with a lot of space between tents/RVs. Shuttle stop nearby. The shuttles were not crowded und took us to the rim and to the trailheads. Showers near the entrance were ok, but could bei cleaner.

Very level spot for the trailer. Good water. Available flush toilets. Lots of wildlife. Take the Ravens seriously, they are probably smarter than you are!

We had a great experience at Mather Campground. Easy pull-through, huge campsite, elk wandering through daily, convenient to grocery store and Grand Canyon amenities, clean laundry, showers, and bathrooms. Dish cleaning stations were convenient, as were fresh water faucets. Highly recommend!

Very nice campground. Easy access to Shuttles and other services at South Rim. Wonderful bike trails to get to many hikes and view points

Very nice paved campground roads and sites. Campground services were extra cost, but were convenient and reasonable. The campground is close to shuttle stops and only about a half mile from the canyon rim.

Great campground that is spread out, lots of trees for shade, and elk wondering around. Loved our time there. Definitely recommend.

Great campground. Very clean. Nice pull through sites for tow behind campers. Would be nice if you didn't have to pay for showers.

Campground is beautiful and clean. We stayed for 2 beautiful and cold nights while exploring the South Rim Trail with our 2 labradors.
There was plenty of open space at the back of the campsite to make it feel private.
We would definitely recommend this campground to others! The recreation .gov reservation site does an excellent job of describing in detail the sizes and features of each campsite, which was very helpful.

Plenty of space. We liked it was quiet and peaceful. Restrooms were clean. Site was coded to the main grocery store. Laundry was convenient. Showers were a little bit expensive ($2.50/5 minutes)

Beautiful spaces! Campground was quiet with tons of wildlife. Bike trails and walking trails to the canyon.

The campground is very well organized. We did a late check in. No problems at all. The showers where clean. We could appreciate the stars at night and hope to come back to this campground with more time to spend.

Nice campsite clean spacious
We have a class a 35 foot motorhome and we got in all the spots I reserved. Lots of wildlife. Close to store could walk but I would ride a bike. Mather point was a must see. Stayed end of March and it was cold at night. We have at&t no internet walked around and would get 3g to txt that’s about it. Good experience otherwise
