Nice spacious campsites that are well separated from each other. Close to market, shuttle, and canyon. Beautiful area!

Excellent campground with beautiful sites in the heart of Grand Canyon NP. Trees and serenity make for a wonderful experience. The laundry and shower facilities are good, and there's a dump station at the same spot. My only caution is for those bringing travel campers or class A's. The spots in Mather are very tight with lots of rocks and boulders. Just be sure you survey the site before pulling or backing in.

Campground was very clean, especially considering how busy it is. Bathroom and dish wash facilities were good (not great). Main complaint was how crammed together we were, which I also realize is a part of camping at a National Park. Injist prefer more space. Campers were respectful during out stay

Beautiful, quiet, clean and very well run. We thoroughly enjoyed our two nights there. Such an incredible location so close to the canyon!

The location was great with the shuttle stop being right outside the campground. The site was clean in general, the showers weren't amazing but also not the worst I've seen. I have Cricket and I had service.

Mather campground is very near the Grand Canyon and is a beautiful site. We saw an adult Elk cross the field near our campsite. Wonderful! the restrooms are clean and the sites are spacious and not too close to one another. The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable. Overall, a great place to stay!

Overall nice campground, but enquire before which showers are working. Otherwise you pay for nothing. After reporting a defect shower they just tell you that someone else is responsible for it.

Great campground. Clean, well-stocked restrooms. Water was easily available. We stayed in Juniper loop, spot 112. Our campsite felt so spacious, even with people camping in spots next to us. A very quick walk to the restrooms without being "too close". All the campsites looked great, the only ones I think I'd avoid would be the ones right next to/across from the restrooms because the lights stay on throughout the night. Would definitely stay again. Fire ring, cooking grate, and large picnic table at each site. Ours was a pull-through spot and our 20 ft. van fit very easily. The parking ground was just a little uneven, but nothing our leveling blocks couldn't fix. Paid showers available - $2.50 for 5 minutes. Laundry facilities were available as well, but we didn't use them. Great location in the park as well. Very close to the shuttle station and the general store where you can purchase wood, charcoal, groceries, etc. The park rangers were very friendly as well. Only interacted with them at check-in, but they answered all of our questions with a smile. Cell service - we have T-Mobile and were able to text, stream, and make calls. BUT we had a cell booster on our van to amplify our signal.

Good time. We were the only ones that night.

Lots of space, nice shade thankfully, way too many barking dogs, generators run outside of the listed "generator time " printed on the rules sheet. But people do NOT read that sheet and assume the quiet time posted on the sign on the entrance road is the no generator time. Make it more clear to people that generator time is some hours in the AM and PM.

There are so many wildlife in the park and campground, which makes for a unique experience. The campsites are nice and close to the restrooms no matter where you are. It would have been nice to have a shower but I know they are being renovated.

It was like camping in a forest, the campsite was nicely wooded and you couldn’t tell that there were a lot of other people relatively close.

The location is the best. The facilities are working (partially due to COVID-19), but it not relate to the site management. The staff is very kid and friendly. Camper around us were very nice and respectful. The site is very families friendly. We liked it.
