We had a great experience at Mather Campground. Site was in great shape. Ranger office was great. Bathrooms were in good shape and clean. Thanks!

A beautiful place in a pine forrest. Elks and deers wandering around. As the campground is huge, we had to walk 10 minutes to the showers.

The campground and sites seemed spacious and clean. Bathrooms need some sort of ledge or table by the sinks to set toiletries, and hooks on the wall for hanging things. Also dishwashing sink on the outside of the building needs a table next to the sink. Overall, my wife and I had an enjoyable three night experience and would camp here again.

Mather Campground is by far one of the best built, organized, and maintained campgrounds in the entire national parks system. The campground is conveniently located in the Grand Canyon’s South Rim and allows excellent access to all of the park’s attractions. I have camped in the Juniper Loop three times and I will always take a campsite in the same loop every time.

We could walk to pretty much everywhere from there, didn’t have to drive!

First time camping at the grand canyon and loved it. We noticed all the campsites/RV were leveled. The restrooms were very clean. the showers and laundry room are a 1-2 min drive from your campsite. The drive to the grocery store was also about 3-4 min. Close proximity to everything! Would recommend to everyone
